Thanks AeFondAshley! Nice find! That's a good sign!

Did you find it on social media or on a concert/ venue website?

Celtic Woman A New Era Toured 2026 / Re: I Don’t Like The Sound Of This…
« Last post by kay_pet_97 on May 03, 2026, 06:48:18 PM »
Some of the earlier tours were around 4 months long.  That's gotta be brutal.  A different bed every night.  What do you do for meals?  And at some point you have to miss your family.  Plus, you have to be "on" every night.  (ok, they do have days off, but...).  So, on some level I'm impressed that the girls stuck it out as long as they did.

There's a post that talks about the issues that Shannon Brown ran into, at least with Celtic Thunder.  Article claims the "company" lost something like 2.7 million pounds.  Is the current production company making money?  Going back, say prior to COVID, most of the shows I went to were pretty full.  Lately, not so much.

Do I want this to end? NO.  But if it does, I have a bunch of great memories.

Casual fans that ask about the constant line up changes seem to forget that CW is similar to Riverdance in that they’re a touring show, not a regular band. Being on the road for half the year can take its toll on you.

New Members / Meet rfcw! The time is right. I happen to be more than a real fan.
« Last post by rfcw on May 03, 2026, 05:54:05 PM »
I feel the time is right that I introduce myself a little more.
I have been for many years here and the original forum referred to as rfcw!

I am a private person but yet recent year's been very open so this would be one of the
reasons why it's not my focus but to share right away, I truly enjoyed being just a real fan of Celtic Woman
which is why I am here in the first place!

Me and Chloe happen to be just one year apart so pretty much the journey Chloe has been with CW we both grew up with it.
Celtic Woman has helped me been an inspiration, a companion all along especially during my teenage years and in high school as I was navigating as the quiet one in high school. The many members have inspired me with joy, love, confidence, and eventually in time I have come to know myself at the most complete.

I would like to share that, as a singer my own CW has been a influence to me on performing in front of people to enjoy the ride as I have sang in choirs, band and now solo on my own performing in front of an audience has come natural to me.

My style is of wonder, magic, and uplifting meaning and life.

I hope you enjoy as I from time to time share little covers and pieces of my own renditions.

My goal is to inspire Celtic Woman, anyone also because the love of performing and singing from our hearts comes full circle .

My name is Florentin

I was born in France and grew up in Florida

I don't have a French accent but speak English very well so I resonate with the girls Irish English speaking.
Also when I sing is when my accent is not there as more so than if I spoke which reminds me dearly of Lisa Kelly.

Thank you for creating this forum as an escape to express our love and passions which CW is one of them!

Sincerely,
your forum pal

Silver Bells Christmas Tour 2026 / Re: Symphony tour 2026

I love that! Hopefully they’ll have some shows near me. Though I may not be able to go regardless, as hopefully I’ll get to go to a Loreena McKennitt concert in Canada and my mum might not let me go to multiple concerts. 😔

What songs do we think they’ll be performing? Silver Bells seems to be a given, but what else? I hope we can get Muirgen’s Dia Do Bheatha back.

Oh I need Muirgen’s Dia Do Bheatha on the set list, recorded, filmed, and stamped into my brain it is SO GOOD. And if I had to take a wild guess I’d say maybe Silver bells 😂. Hopefully we see The bells of Dublin/Christmas Eve/Navan in the snow come back! And Feliz Navidad would make me so happy but that’s a long shot.

It seems we’ve gotten an official banner for the tour, and I love that they’re calling it the “Silver Bells” tour.

A New Journey / Re: Noticed a Typo in the CD Booklet
« Last post by AeFondAshley on May 03, 2026, 02:32:10 PM »
I’ve seen things like that happen before and I’m always confused as to why? 😂, but I think my questions are more on the side of what songs they consider “duets” and which ones they consider solos. I see this mainly on 20, Tara and Meav are both credited for Lay Your Head Down, however Tara has the same level of involvement (in my opinion) on A Stór Mo Chroí and that’s considered Muirgen’s solo. So I wonder if they’re often mistakes made on the graphic design side of things or just a slightly odd way of categorizing the songs, though I have zero musical training so I don’t know if there’s actual differences between them.

I am sure she is going to think about it. But I don't think the message is that definitive. I'd probably be more concerned if she were thanking all the CW she's ever worked with.

I also think if CW were to end, they would certainly do a farewell tour.  And that would certainly be weird to end CW after the New Era tour.

I can see them taking 2027 off. And Christmas shows in the meantime.

Like CWFella2011 said above, I am thankful for the shows I've seen, esp. traveling to see New Era away from my hometown area this year.

I agree, and I think I have to say that Máiréad’s post was the only one i think was “ominous”. Muirgen’s were the normal end-of-tour comments and so were Caitriona’s.Kate also posted a story saying her “1st spring tour” was done so I think her commitment to the group is a little rocky on whether she’s staying or going but nothing too doomsday-y.
