Time for a Poll on Special Style Format. This is an individual preference poll, not what is best because every special filming is phenomenal!

Oh this is an interesting poll.

PFI is very special because it was during the pandemic, and that filming style will always remind us of the pandemic.

In fact, I've been listening to PFI lately because it makes me think back to that time. Like how did we all survive that w/o going crazy? Plus, Megan's songs are so good & I wish she were still with the group.

My definite favourites are the ANJ, SFTH, and Ancient Land venues…I feel like those perfectly projected the grand feel of Celtic Woman…I don’t know if that makes sense, but I do miss the grandiose shows.

I don’t know about the others…I do like the Believe venue, though.

I like PFI’s venues, but I do feel that filming the DVDs live is kind of iconic, as pretty as the scenery may be.

The Helix is undoubtedly iconic to CW’s history, but sometimes, it looks a bit too sombre for my taste…not that I don’t enjoy sombre music, but it’s not necessarily what I tend to listen to Celtic Woman for.

My least favourite would probably be the Round Room for Destiny; it was beautiful, but I think it clashed with the Destiny aesthetic a bit. Granted, it’s not as though they could perform in the forest (I mean, they could, I think AURORA did that once), so my feelings might be misguided.

Hi! You are right that filming at the castles is indeed so "Celtic womany." 🙂 I do love the Postcards from Ireland, but it does make them look like a whole lot of other singers and bands that record in lovely scenes of nature.

I agree about the Destiny roundroom. Some might like it because it evokes mo re intimacy with the audience, but it always made me a think of a dinner show. Not as high class or high quality as I would prefer, but that is just me. 🙂

What I am mad about us that they did not do a filmig of the Emerald show when they were touring with Mairead Carlin. We missed out
seeing her sing with Lisa L and Susan, (and Lynn at times), as well as their lovely gowns that year. I know there are clips but it is not the same. I know they filmed it earlier with Chloe, but, I am too picky. 😉 I should be grateful for what we have!

I do hope they film a special for New Era......
