Hi! I just ran across this interview with Synan and the ladies, and Mairead is trying on a lovely black sequin gown. I am mystified as to when she wore this during the 10th anniversary tour, as I cant find any pictures of her wearing it. I assume it was during her solo for Newgrange? Too bad there are so few videos from that tour. 😐 Anyway, was just wondering if anybody remembers. Sorry if this seems mundane and trivial. Thank you for this! I am a name nerd too, though not just Irish names, just names in general. I went through a phase as a preteen where I would fill pages and pages of notebooks with my favorite names along with their meaning, ranking, and pairings with other names. 🤭

Hi! You are right that filming at the castles is indeed so "Celtic womany." 🙂 I do love the Postcards from Ireland, but it does make them look like a whole lot of other singers and bands that record in lovely scenes of nature.
I agree about the Destiny roundroom. Some might like it because it evokes mo re intimacy with the audience, but it always made me a think of a dinner show. Not as high class or high quality as I would prefer, but that is just me. 🙂
What I am mad about us that they did not do a filmig of the Emerald show when they were touring with Mairead Carlin. We missed out
seeing her sing with Lisa L and Susan, (and Lynn at times), as well as their lovely gowns that year. I know there are clips but it is not the same. I know they filmed it earlier with Chloe, but, I am too picky. 😉 I should be grateful for what we have!
I do hope they film a special for New Era......

Hi!I ran across this clip of a show in China at the end of 2012. They sang You Raise Me Up and The Call. It was nice to see Susan and Lisa L sing The Call, as I had only seen the Greatest Journey version. I actually love this version, as I think Susan adds a lot to it. Now, though, I am confused as to whether this appearance was part of the Home for Christmas tour, and they just decided to sing some old favorites, or if this was part of the Believe tour, (I was under the impression that The Call was not part of that set list)  ? Hi! Here is my two cents, (or really just one cent).😃 I don't think Kate ever planned to stay for long. If you look at her original video announcing her joining CW, at the end she says something like, "I have wanted this gig for a long time and am so excited." To me, "gig" implies a temporary job, not a permanent placement. She also never added Celtic Woman to her jobs on her bio on Facebook. Anyway, perhaps I am reading too much into it? Hi! I agree that Lisa's version is amazing! However, my personal favorite iof The Voice s Megan's. I don't think it is on an album, but she did it in this show here in 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPJ55ldbl3UAround the 14:53 time. It has such a airy, yet strong feel to it, in my opinion.
