Is This True?

I saw a comment on one of CW's videos (I believe it was their CNBC performance of Nil Se'n La?...also on the computer so can't type fadas) that apparently CW had been considered to compete in Eurovision 2026, but obviously wouldn't now due to Ireland's boycott over Israel being allowed to compete. Is this true? I'm no Eurovision scholar and I don't even know how one would find out this information, but this seems like a weird thing to make up (what? Someone going on the internet and...telling lies?  ). But I do wonder if they got their facts mixed up and confused this with CW having performed Eurovision-winning songs before (The Voice, Nocturne). Would anyone be able to verify this?

I saw that! I wonder where the source they got that from. If they were welcomed they would've in the past. Now why would they be in it unless they competed.
