Just got home from the concert so I thought I would get my thoughts down while they're still fresh.

They got here from Regina (southeast of us in Saskatoon) which happened to have a major snow storm yesterday and were able to get here safely.

Mairead C was the only one I recognized from the last tour stop here in Saskatoon in 2014.

Mairead said that she was happy to be at the hometown of Joni Mitchell (Who hails from Saskatoon,) how Joni deserved the Juno for Lifetime achievement and sang a cover of "River."

During the concert, the group decided to cover a Dolly Parton song, Jolene.

There was no choir and in a way, it helped the CW members voices come more through on the sound system.

Overall a great concert and I've heard some songs for the first time live that I haven't heard since ANJ or even The Original Show.

Couldn't take photos or audio/video recordings but bought some swag. I was posting an image but it is way too large.

Mairéad covering River is interesting! Did she get two solos or was this in place of The Prayer? It’s lovely that ye got a special surprise!

Both Mairéad and Muirgen posted covers of Both Sides Now on Instagram (Mairéad’s must have been recent because of her haircut, Muirgen’s was from her StageIt concert with Tara last year). Wouldn’t it be interesting if CW ended up covering that?

Hope everything is OK with your family. Real life calls.

Thanks for posting! That was a long time between concerts in Saskatoon!
