Hi everyone!

Here are the links ;D

I have to admit I wasn’t a huge fan of NSL VOA version but with this morning performance it starts growing on me!

I think seeing the 2016 Níl Sé’n Lá resurface solidifies it as my favourite version of the song. And god, Muirgen is just so incredible! One of their best vocalists for sure.

Thanks for posting the vids.

So much better than what is posted on Peacock. They have only about an hour of the Today show posted as the "full episode". So it only includes Níl Sé’n Lá.  :P

That version was only on the album, it got performed only during one tour, they did it during the show that they filmed Homecoming but it didn't make it or was included on the DVD. So to see it given love it deserves really is so cool to see after all these years. I also couldn't get enough of the high range riff Tir na Nog that was first done on the Destiny Tour, Caitriona's voice shines with the girls in this one!*

I really dig the set, the lighting, the color lighting, I thought it presented Celtic Woman really well, don't get me wrong I love the past performances too especially when they first did the acapella group version of Danny Boy with Lynn and Alex way back in Isle of Hope, we were use to just seeing the street and NYC traffic behind them. I wasn't quite sure what Hoda was trying to respond when she gasped because Mairead actually said she first met her in 2013 as a wee  ;D. Hoda probably forgotten and thought they were all a new lineup if I was guessing correctly.
The second verse sounded like a new tweak in the lyrics.

This style of the 2016 version with a guitar is a vibe like when during the 2014 Tour with Lynn when they went to Brazil they did Teir Abhaile Riu in a rapid acoustic sort of way.. so twisting songs in a new hence whether by accompliment by a guitar really changes it up for this song it's bringing back the sfth vibe because the 2016 version was prominent by it's full Orchestration.

Watching Muirgen interaction on the tour, she is the new mama bear of the group, I'm not saying she is replicating Chloe but I mean the energy that Chloe gave back when she returned Muirgen is doing that here and I'm all for it on top of her phenomenal singing!  ;D❣️

I think that oftentimes there’s sort of a “lead” member if that makes sense. The member that just has a more dominant presence than the others, even though the others can be notable as well. Think Lisa L in Believe and Emerald or Megan in Postcards From Ireland. I think that’s what Muirgen is now. Caitríona’s been promoted a lot, but she’s still kind of the “newbie” and Mairéad is sort of the “legacy act”, similar to Chloë in PFI or Emerald.
