Lloyd recently posted he will be the musical director for a play from March 19th to April 19th. His bio on instagram now also no longer says he’s the pianist and touring md with Celtic Woman, now it’s just included in a list of his collaborations. I wonder who they’ll be having on this tour instead 😊

First Tara, then Ciara, and now this?? I get that people have come and gone since the first ever tour, but this is all so sudden! I wonder if there’s some sort of issue with management or if there’s just been a cascade of circumstances piling together to make everyone leave. Hopefully we can achieve some stability soon. Things just don’t feel the same without Tara 🥀

Could Brian Byrne tour as the musical director now?

Lloyd had posted on his Facebook that be had been diagnosed with cancer so i think it’s just possible that he doesn’t want to travel much or that he wouldn’t be able to. I wish him all the best and I do trust that whoever they do hire will turn out great.

Oh, that’s horrible!  :( I hope treatment goes well…it’s impressive that he’s still directing a play despite this!

Oh thanks for the info. That makes sense. I will say a little prayer for him. We met him several times after the shows, and he was always super friendly, cheerful, and a took his time to talk to everyone.

Sorry to hear about Lloyd and hope he recovers well. as for the new touring musical director I vote for Lynn Hilary she has a great ear and would be a super great musical director.
