So there is going to be a show in my area.  Logged on to the venue's website.  The venue's "members" could buy their ticket starting Wednesday.  General Public can't buy them until Saturday.  The venue is offering a VIP package, which includes a meet and greet, but it appears it is only open to their members

There are limited M&G tickets in the Edmonton, AB show as add on.

Also, I found out that presale code is: SWSPRING2006 for this show.

@dbbii: Out of curiosity, which venue is this? Are you going to any other shows near you? I think there are quite a few.

The show I'm going to is in Clearwater; Ruth Eckerd Hall.  Seen the girls there a couple times.  For a few years, the first show of the tour was in Lakeland, FL.  Been there.  Also in the Tampa area, there's the Straz Center in Tampa and the Mahaffey Threatre in St Petersburg.  They've done shows in Sarasota (about 60 miles from me), Fort Myers (been to about 4 there), West Palm Beach (2 shows on 2 nights back to back), 2 in Orlando and one in Melbourne, FL

Haven't made up my mind about going to other shows.  When I first started following CW, I think the first year I went to one show, then maybe 3 the next year, and then it kinda snowballed from there.  My "best" year was 2010.  13 shows, including 2 at Radio City, 2 shows in Roanoke VA (first of tour) and ending up at Red Rocks.

Looks like for the Edmonton show there are just a few Meet & Greet tickets available as add-ons. If you’re planning to grab one, it’s best to act fast since they’re limited. Also, for presale access, you can use the code SWSPRING2006—that should get you early entry before general tickets go on sale. Always double-check the official site or your ticket provider to make sure the code is still valid and the M&G spots haven’t sold out.

Yay! I finally got tickets! I was happy to still get Row 2 after waiting for such a long time.  ;D

Got a M&G too, since I've never met the new ladies.

Lucky! I should be going to the Myrtle Beach show with my mum, but I don’t know if she’s purchased the tickets yet. I’ll ask her if she could get a meet and greet as well!

EDIT: How do you get a Meet and Greet? I don’t see the option. Is it just not available for this particular show? 😔

IDK everything. But it looks like it is offered as an add-on for certain shows but not all of them. It probably depends on their schedule and the venue. So it should say on the venue website, or when you go through the process of buying tix.

In years past of course, every show had a M&G offered by PBS.

The Meet & Greet option has changed over the years.  The first one I went to was in 2009.  That was when you only meet 2 girls, and it was random as to which ones.  The M&G was typically offered as part of a package thru PBS that usually included front row, or at least orchestra level, seats.  I think at that time the cost was $250 for 2 tickets and the M&G.

These "early" M&G's were great! They were done after the show.  There were maybe 20 or so people.  You actually got a minute or two to talk to the girls and they would sign things for you.  I have a couple things that are signed by all 5 (at that time) girls.

In 2013, they changed to basically a photo op with all the girls.  This was now before the show, so it was on a very strict timeline.  I believe the girls really wanted a couple minutes to be able to talk to us, but were really being pushed.  In 2024, I went to the Christmas show in Washington DC, mostly to see Lisa Lambe.  I had a picture with her from a couple of years prior that I brought to show her.  She did remember me and wanted to sign the picture for me.  She somewhat delayed the M&G because someone had to find a marker for her.  I was expecting to get it signed -- I just wanted to show it to her.

Lisa K and Chloe were really good at remembering people from the M&Gs.  A couple years ago, I went to a Lisa Kelly Masterclass in Peachtree City.  When I walked in, she remembered me (by Name!) and we chatted for a few minutes.

So anyway, right now I'm going to one show with a M&G.  I was considering a second show, but so far, all I've found is tickets on the secondary market.  Venue's ticket option takes you to a secondary site.  No mention of a M&G.  So, we shall see, based on how much I like the show I already have tickets for.

That's cool that they remembered you.

Yeah.  That's why I still tend to follow Chloe, especially when she does live shows.  I've done StageIt, but it's not the same.  Years ago, Lisa K did a couple of shows in Atlanta that I went to.  Years ago, Lisa L was going to be in a Broadway show that was being produced by David Downes.  I had my plane ticket to NYC, but they canceled the show like 2 days before it started.

EDIT

I hope I can get the new ladies to sign something. I know mgmt doesn't encourage that. But if people spend $200+ on tickets and M&G (e.g. $400+ for a pair, $600+ for a family of 3), I would hope they would allow it. It seems like most people I've met at M&Gs care more about the photo op.
