I’m always curious to see what members are on each songs so I’ve been thinking about who I think will be on each track! Please keep in mind that I haven’t been to any of their concerts (yet!) so I’m not as well versed in these songs as some of you are. I did find some clips of the 2024 Christmas Symphony tour on YouTube so I have some knowledge at least. (Side note: Lisa Lambe’s dress was incredible!! It might be my favourite of all of the band’s dresses.)

Anyway, here’s my predictions:

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen: group (generally, opening tracks are always group performances, and they were all singing it in the promotional video)

Nollaig na mBan (featuring Sibéal): group (I’m fairly certain that all of their songs featuring other artists were group performances)

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas: group (as shown in the promo)

River: Mairéad (has apparently been performed before as a solo)

Codail A Linbh (featuring Sibéal): group

Silent Night: group or Tara and/or Ciara (it was originally a solo by Méav but was turned into a group performance in the Christmas Cards From Ireland EP and they’ve been trending towards more group performances lately…but it could also be the instrumental version shown in The Magic Of Christmas, which I am leaning towards because I don’t see any other instrumental opportunities on here)

Wexford Carol: group or a solo by Muirgen with Tara and/or Ciara on the violin…? Or maybe solo by Muirgen with Tara on the harp and Ciara on the fiddle if we’re lucky? (I’m unsure because it has been performed twice—once as The Wexford Carol which was a solo by Méav and then as a group performance called merely Wexford Carol, but the shortening of the title could merely be a coincidence…? And I think each member will get one solo…?)

Little Drummer Boy: group

Don Oíche Úd i mBeithil (featuring Sibéal): group

In The Bleak Midwinter/Goin’ Home (Medley): group

The Bells Of Dublin/Christmas Eve/Navan In The Snow (Medley) (Featuring Tara Howley): either group or purely instrumental…maybe a welcome to Ciara?

Auld Lang Syne: group

Silver Bells: Caitríona

Quick addendum to say that apparently Wexford Carol was apparently performed by Muirgen and Tara on tour, so it’s highly likely that it will be the same on the album.

Also, I do not know why Silver Bells got moved to the end 😭 sorry about that.
