Yay! I got mine today too. That was a nice surprise. (I posted too soon yesterday!)

The Kickstarter credit page is fun. I see some of our names in there, and other people I recognize. I didn't have to look too hard to find myself & you.

I didn't order the vinyl album. So IDK.

I did check the Rewards section on her Kickstarter. It is supposed to be signed. Double check. Honestly, I first thought my CD wasn't signed b/c the signatures are so small. Also look on the record itself. I could see them signing the album instead of the cover.

Here is the reply I got from Alex

Hi Glen!

Sincerest apologies on the vinyl not being signed.

I was just drafting an update to go out on Kickstarter as to why that
happened.

Vinyl pressing is, frankly, a slow beast. Even though we paid extra for
express shipping, the pressing process itself took much longer than
expected (which is unfortunately very common with vinyl). The records
finally arrived from Canada to St. George on December 19th.

At that exact time, I was in Salt Lake City performing, and Jay was still
out touring with Joy to the World. That meant we simply weren’t in the same
place to sign them. Because I was flying back to Ireland on December 21st,
there was no realistic window to get the vinyls signed before shipment.

At that point, we had to make a call — and we felt it was far more
important that you receive your vinyls without further delay, rather than
hold them back indefinitely waiting for signing logistics to line up.

We sincerely apologise for any disappointment this caused. To make it
right, we’d like to offer two options:
     -
We can ship you a signed clear sticker that you can apply to your vinyl
   if you wish.
   -
Or, you’re more than welcome to bring your vinyl to any performance
where either of us is appearing and we’ll happily sign it in person.

I’m sad this happened, we really did our best to get all the Kickstarter
rewards signed and shipped before Christmas but our hands unfortunately
were tied and held to ransom by the vinyl pressing plant.

Sincerest apologies again. 🙏🏻

whats all your guys Ideas as to what to do  I offered her a option as if they have extra record covers to sign one and send it to me but I also said I would look into kickstarter for options  going to a show is out because she  does her shows out in Utah and Wisconsin is 1000 miles away so thats out and not hip on the clear viynl sticker. Let me hear any ideas you guys have to fix the problem

Thanks
Glen

It would be great if you were to order another one in the future whenever it be show her an image that your vinyl was one that wasn't signed and if she has future ones signed that you could purchase order another but it will be discounted one because you have to buy another. the cost you paid for a signed one.Signed sticker is better option than nothing but agreed on your proposal a discounted vinyl if you don't get one free ofc.

@GlenS

Personally, I am OK with stickers. Two good examples of where they do sticker autographs are:
- Books. If you google "bookplate", basically that's a sticker authors use to sign copies of their books (e.g. on the title page).
- Trading cards (e.g. baseball cards). It was not well received at first, but now a standard. Card companies have players sign sheets of stickers instead of the actual card.

If you want to see some sticker autographs, look on my old New Members thread. The PFI CD has a sticker autograph from Susan McFadden. I sent her a sticker to sign b/c I didn't want to risk losing in the mail my CD cover signed by all the other ladies.

Your idea of sending a 2nd album cover is good. But not sure if you'd have to cover additional shipping, e.g. from Ireland.
