Obviously they’ll do Danny Boy, You Raise Me Up, Amazing Grace, and other classics, but what else do we think they’ll throw in? I saw an Instagram post saying that they might be rehearsing Orinoco Flow, so that sort of piqued my interest.

I bet there will be some new songs, like Caitríona’s An Chailín Alainn. But do we think they’ll revamp some forgotten classics?

I would want that so Bad!  ;)

If I had to guess maybe, because unless it ends being been a 20th Tour exclusive only that that new version of Spanish Lady is still new. I wish they recorded in a DVD performance that new version of Bean Phadin, it was so cool when Eabha, Megan, and Mairead boldy pointed in finger “She can go back to her Mother!”  ;D

Okay, it is Kate’s First Ever Tour with Celtic Woman, Her 1st Spring Tour Yes.

Although It’s Caitriona’s 1st Also… I know it’s a Big Kate moment here, but she could of said First Tour with Celtic Woman than Spring Tour since they are not acknowledging the other member with Spring Tour!

That is a really good question. Normally, we'd be seeing a PBS special and/or an album to promote. But the whole economy of the music industry is different now. So the album sales are less important. Not sure why they are not partnering with PBS at all.

This tour is a total mystery!

I was also thinking some of the unreleased (well... streaming only released) tracks from the 20th (e.g. Red Is the Rose).

For years, I tried to purchase my tickets thru the various PBS stations.  Two main reasons.  1) Really good seats  2) Meet & Greet.

Then, I noticed that certain venues (including one close to me) moved the PBS tickets back to like the 12th row.  OK, still decent seats, but not the same, and the price didn't go down.

What I discovered is that to get orchestra pit tickets you had to be a "member" of the venue.  In my local case, being a member required a donation to the venue.

Then, back in 2024, I went to the Christmas CW show.  If I recall, I had to buy the M&G ticket directly from CW.

So I tend to think the main reason they are not partnering with PBS is money.   And by the way, that's how I discovered CW.  Was simply flipping thru the channels (cable TV) and found them.  Plus, everything on TV these days seems to need a streaming payment.

PBS has also been suffering ever since Trump and his minions cut funding. I’ve heard rumours that they’re shutting down entirely. As if the world wasn’t already going to hell already. Please wake me up when the 20s are over.

On a more hopeful note, though, maybe CW could film a DVD outside of PBS. They’ve been around for nearly 21 years now, so they could gather enough funds to make a DVD, even if it’s less grandiose than what we’re used to. And maybe we can see a return to a publicly funded PBS when someone new is elected in 2028. We may not ever see a return to Christmas DVDs, though.

EDIT: I wasn’t in the greatest state of mind when I wrote this, so sorry if it seems too negative. I try to be optimistic but I am naturally more of the opposite, so sometimes I think we’re about to enter the apocalypse 🫠.

Anyway, I think we might get a DVD after A New Era, like how we got Songs From The Heart after the Isle Of Hope tour. Hopefully this is a sign that they’re going back to touring more frequently.

Sorry if this was too wordy, I have a bad habit of going into a lot of tangents 😭
