Mine will probably always be the original. I actually prefer it to Enya’s. I love the grand orchestration and Órla, Méav, and Lisa K are some of Celtic Woman’s greatest vocal talents. Fun fact: this was one of five CW songs that I listened to repeatedly on one road trip shortly after I’d discovered them (the other four were Téir Abhaile Riú, Níl Sé’n Lá, Dúlamán, and The Voice). I also read Jill Duggar’s memoir Counting The Cost on that road trip, so even now I still kind of associate Orinoco Flow with that book.
I do love the dancing on the version you shared, though! Susan sings it wonderfully and I like Éabha’s contralto backing! Where is that from originally?
