My most favorite thing from Mairead coming back:
Cinema Paradiso - everything including that dress, great she had her own Italian opera song aside Nella Fantasia, Ave Maria, The Prayer which original as Chloe solos.
Seeing her sing and blend alongside Muirgen!! The potential and wow the two had a duet on A New Era Tour.
Her appearance with Chloe and Lisa K, joy being present with Mairead N again!
See her take on Dawning of the Day, Wild Mountain Thyme as examples of if she had stayed likely to been part of Postcard's of Ireland instead of Muirgen.

I’m assuming you’re referring to when she returned in 2023 and not a potential return? In that case, it’s definitely getting to see her live and making eye contact while she did those high notes on River! I still get chills hearing that song, and she went even higher in person!
I also love the 2024 lineup…I’m a bit biased, as this was when I first got into the group as an active fan and not a passive listener, but I love the unique vocal styles of her, Emma, and Muirgen and how they blended together! I Know My Love is still a standout track in CW history to me.
Muirgen and Mairead C are phenomenal but Emma alongside well rounds them out!

What's interesting to me is how some CW just leave w/o any word or announcement. And some CW have the 'door is always open' policy. For example, Meav came back a few times as we all know. And even has her new album on promoted on the CW website right now. That's a new one.
Anyways, my $0.02 is that Mairead will have the 'door is always open' policy. So I can see her coming back for limited runs (specials, Christmas Symphony, substituting on tour, etc). Having kids is hard work!
Oh I went off on a tangent w/o answering the question.
My fav moments from Mairead coming back in 2023-2026:
- Finally meeting her in person.
- The Cinema Paradiso dress.
- Dulaman from the 20th w/ Meav.
Thank you for answering, your first response is a valid point and even if a member departed a message of we would like to thank her for being a prominent member of Celtic Woman. I don't know why some members had no announcement off of Celtic Woman when they exited.

As someone who isn't familar of the title of this song, first time seeing Caribbean Blue was like Caribbean Queen/a Bob Marley song   You could vision yourself Mairéad somehow there, but then your mesmorized by the sheer blending of these three***! not saying Mairéad can't blend in but you hear like these three can make a similar tone blend. That is me saying in yet not knowing Eiméar's vocal potentiality within the group!

Here’s a new promo image. It appears they’re reusing Susan’s Postcards dress for Eiméar, which seems a bit unfair when the rest got new ones. I will say, however, that the dress is one of the few non-abhorrent uses of mesh I’ve seen, so it certainly could be worse. (Yes, this is an excuse to talk about the dresses. I like fashion.)
My favourite of the bunch is definitely Caitríona’s, but I like them all. We’re going back to green as a main colour…I wonder if they’ll start alternating between red and green by year.
Yeah I noticed that as well, I loved that dress on Susan..It seems they've done that in the past not the first time didn't Caitriona have Megan's dress the last time. Caitríona’s poster looks now is prominent, and I suppose now Eimear is now in those shoes right now meaning at the very start to me I didn't like the poster looks for Caitriona or the dress they photoshopped on her. Pretty amazing Lisa Lambe had a new dress fit for herself when she returned joined as guest!*

And Danny Boy, well, I’m disappointed but not surprised. I am just tired of them covering the same songs over and over again. But @rfcw did bring up a good point that it’s a good way to see the differences in vocals between lineups! I am very curious how this one will sound.
Since we also got new solos on the New Era tour, it seems as though we’ll go back to each member getting two solos, and for that, I am extremely glad. Hopefully we can get some more duets and the like as well.
You know whenever there's lineup changes or a new member, I tend to love the most catching 1st a classic Celtic Woman song whether it's Danny Boy, Amazing Grace etc.. I know there a plenty of other song's they could revisit or new ones.. I look forward to them when if they'll record Galelo, I really wished they Muirgen and Mairead C had a duet recorded together.. but it was great having both share the stage together so can't complain! I also like each member getting two solos.

Edit: here’s (https://youtu.be/b6EN-cGCP_YiQkoUPAvmxyj9kpN) a clip of her singing. While her voice isn’t as high as Mairéad’s, she seems quite fit to take the high soprano role.
Well wishes for Mairéad and can she her making appearances in the future like Susan, Chloe etc I know that our new member will have her own forum board, but while I can't resist to wait because the second I began watching stars at Dawn's link that she shared here, I am always use to discovering a new voice, but with her I immediately began to shout oh they going back to the Chloe route rather than Mairead but as the video progressed than she sounded so much like Susan but then when that soprano hits like Edel Murphy ❤️. Wow but then operatic Ave Maria..! She did give Meav by the image first to me . Hannah also gave Meav like soprano and young Chloe vibes which is a bummer because I would of been curious if Hannah had stayed and recorded would there been touches like the Old days of Celtic Woman.

Kind of odd and unrelated but I did have a dream a few days ago that Tara came back because they were recording an album and they needed someone to replace Mairéad so Tara ended up doing vocals for an album? And then on the tour they had her as a violinist, so her and Kate were both violinists and they had three vocalists. It was weird but I’ve also had a lot of psychic dreams so who knows? 😂🤷♀️ highly doubt it though 😁
Haha it's not odd now really because Tara is not the violinist now, you have Kate, having Tara step in but this time as a singer, why not!! and even if you had her say middle ground like Megan or Caitriona currently is you can have Muirgen back as soprano and Caitriona would fit well as the alto say if Tara wasn't fit as soprano...

Wow! Had not heard these versions before. So heavenly. Goosebumps and chills. Now this is making me want to do a rabbit hole search of the Celebration tour. I know so ittle of it.
It was an incredible tour, having Chloe and Mairead C together, loved Megan's hair style, May It Be in trio with these three was iconic, which makes me wonder if because of Mairead's departure could it be why they didn't record it, Muirgen is amazing as always but the way they did the Celebration version and how Megan's lines were instead of Chloe singing all the way through chills! Not that it would of been a guarantee but had this tour not stopped because of 2020, would there been more clips of them especially with Susan or the other solo song's like the one Mairead had. We do have one clip of Megan singing "I see Fire."

Éabha returning would also make up a lineup with multiple altos/contraltos, which CW has never had. Caitríona might be counted as a mezzo-soprano in classical format, but UCD Choral Scholars lists her as an alto (mezzo-sopranos don’t exist in choir). The only issue is that Éabha and Caitríona are similar in voice and the repertoire of songs they sing, so with that and Éabha’s flourishing solo career, I really don’t think she’d return.
Which yes there has a been a time of multiple soprano's but hence yes they would be so similar.

I hope they keep Muirgen where she is now…I’m not fond of most of the vocal direction from Postcards From Ireland (sorry, Wilderness151), but Muirgen’s voice was especially done a disservice in my opinion. She really shines in her position now. But it’s not like the music industry is in shortage of high sopranos.
I will just say that she kept her spot on Wild Mountain Thyme and Dawning of The Day. Now those two song's were brand new song's and she shines on those, I love when Mairead glances looking at her <3. It would be history if she were to be moved to middle voice as she would have participated in three different roles in her tenure with Celtic Woman. OH Wait! SHE DID with the lineup Mairead C and Lisa Lambe!!!  For whom brought up the idea of Eabha returning, can you imagine the group sound of Eabha, Caitriona, and Muirgen! :O!!!!! what would be the dream is have any of former member's just pop in to record something every once in a while with the group.
