I’ve mentioned before that CW maybe touring less do to costs and the touring load taking a toll on the performers

They have yet to do another live recording. Due to Congress cutting funds to PBS, another special may be too expensive for PBS to air. CW LTD’s record label parent is Universal. It’s been a while since I’ve taken business law, but there’s probably bilateral financial incentives between PBS and Universal. PBS might not have the money to pay Universal for royalties to co produce and air another special.

This is just a theory, so don’t take my word for it

I wouldn’t be surprised. Hopefully we can see funding restored with new administrations, but for now, we won’t get much. The economy’s also pretty terrible, so people can’t afford tickets like they used to.
