Last year, there was a competition to select a singer to appear with Celtic Woman in the Homecoming special / DVD recording at the 3Arena in Dublin.

The field was narrowed down to 3 singers. The fans then voted on a winner from among those three finalists.

Anabel Sweeney ended up winning the competition and performed two songs in the Homecoming PBS special / DVD:
- Fields of Gold (solo)
- Westering Home (group)

For those in the NY area on June 1st, this may be of interest to you.

Anabel is apparently one of the International Shining Stars Winners performing at Carnegie Hall on June 1, 2018 (the same day as The Way of the Rain in Chicago, in case anyone has the budget for either).

She's in Finding You, a drama / romance movie in post-production with a target release in late-January 2021.

My Land

This is the most beautiful delicate version of this song I've ever heard. She gives off Hayley Westenra but purer instead of operatic soprano! Her voice really surprises me here as she was good on Homecoming but the two songs she sang to me didn't really showcase her voice like this one, it's not her it's just those two songs.
