Fellow Forumites,
Great News! Apparently, there will be a Celtic Woman Christmas Symphony Tour in 2025.
I got an email today from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), announcing its 2025-26 Concert Season. It included a Celtic Woman Christmas Symphony Concert, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 (@ 7:30 pm EST), at the BPO's Kleinhans Music Hall (3 Symphony Circle; Buffalo, NY). It doesn't appear that tickets are on sale yet, but here's a link to the BPO's listing for the Concert -

Be well
Bob
P.S. I realize this technically doesn't belong under the general heading for the 2024 Christmas Symphony Tour, but there's no heading for the 2025 Christmas Symphony Tour, yet. So, I trust the Forum's Powers-That-Be will put it in the correct location once it's set up.

Nice! I was starting to think they were taking the whole year off. It seems like most of the ladies are busy doing other things right now. Hmm...
-
I've always wondered about what the ladies do when they are not touring. Does CW pay them enough that they don't need another "full time" job and they can just do some one-off shows?
-
I got that email as well.
Buffalo is always one of the first to announce the Christmas tour, if there's going to be a show in Buffalo that year.
Tickets are available to series subscribers / members. I tend to just wait for regular tickets as I'm not going to any other shows at that theatre in Buffalo besides this one: the parking sucks and the traffic getting there sucks, among other things.
The way things are looking, this is going to be the only Celtic Woman show I actually get to see this year, so hopefully that lake effect snow stays away.
Funny side-note: their promo pic for this tour features Megan and Hannah. 😂

Just out of curiosity, I looked at old posts on here about when the Christmas tour schedule was officially released the past couple of years. Looks like somewhere around:
~ June 11 for 2024
~ June 27 for 2023
So more venues should be popping up soon. I think.

It seems like they add them sporadically when symphonies announce their seasons and then the ladies announce an official schedule.
Some shows get added late (My show in 2023 was the last one added -- announced on Sep 12 and on sale on Sep 15)

Well, looks like the Christmas tour is up :)

Yes! Anyone have a concert close to them?
Nothing close to me. :( I can't complain b/c I went 3 years in a row.

I'm surprised they're not going back to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington DC!!! :o :o :o

IIRC, they tend to go to Atlanta every year. Everything else seems to be different.
Have gone to Atlanta twice for Christmas shows. The biggest debate I'm going to have is if Chloe does a Christmas show, then is at Lisa Kelly's Masterclass. With my luck, they will be on different weekends, and Atlanta is about a 7 hour drive for me.

When are we going to start the speculation as to who is going to be on the tour?

I could see almost everyone participating for the Christmas tour, since it is relatively short. The next "regular" or Spring tour is another story altogether.
I think the most likely to miss the Christmas tour might be Tara now. Could we see the return of Mairead Nesbitt temporarily?

I bet if they record later this summer that would give the first hint as to who would be on the christmas tour.
Most years there's been a small change between earlier in the year (spring tour, recording, etc) and the christmas tour.
The only timeframe where the lineup was unchanged was 2018-2019. The same group that recorded Ancient Land did the 2018 Best of Christmas tour, Ancient Land tour, recorded The Magic of Christmas during summer break and then did The Magic of Christmas tour.
Mairead Nesbitt is a safe bet for a sub.

There is a PBS Meet & Greet for the top donor level in Atlanta.
> Diamond Level: Donor will receive 2 Front Orchestra seats, free parking, admission to the GPB Pre-Show Reception and a meet & greet with the artists.

I did this a year ago. Reception was pretty good. Decent appetizers and an OPEN BAR!! M&G was typical. Held in a corridor in the basement. At least there was a backdrop. Rushed.
