Minneapolis, Rochester, Mankato?
-
When did Sarasota go on sale? Or was it announced this week.
-
Sarasota went on sale last week on the 8th.
Gregg and I got tickets for that one. We really like this venue right on the water (went there for both the Celebration and Postcards tours) and we have friends who live about an hour away so can also visit with them while in Florida.
-
In the past, Sarasota has kinda been considered in the Tampa Bay area, specifically the PBS station. I reached out to the PBS station a couple weeks ago asking if they were doing a ticket/M&G package anywhere in the area. No response.
Did you buy your tickets direct from the venue?
-
Yes,we bought directly from the venue for Sarasota. We'll pick up a meet and greet somewhere I'm sure.
-
February 23 Birmingham BJCC. Opening show?
-
More shows appear to be announced. On sale or no?

The AL dates appear to be on sale via donations made on the APTV website.

Contacted the theater organization in Minneapolis that has had them many times.
They said an announcement is impending.
It's safe to say that they'll be at one of the theaters in Minneapolis again but whether it's State or Orpheum is TBD.
Since they were at the Orpheum in October '05, April '06, April '07, April '13 and June '17 + the State in April '11, May '19 & This year.
I'm wondering.......
Will they go back to the Orpheum for the first time in 6 years? (there was a 6 year gap before too. Perhaps? '07--'13, '17--'23?) or is the State the goto now (I attended the last two).
To anyone who's been to every Celtic woman Twin Cities appearance -- how does the Orpheum compare to the State when it comes to seeing Celtic Woman perform?

Ask Tracie she lives there.

I've seen Celtic Woman concerts at both Orpheum and State. They are very similar to each other. Both beautiful theatres with good views of the stage from anywhere. The stage at State is pretty high, so when sitting in the front row (favorite spot for Gregg and I), you're craning your neck a bit. I don't remember how high the stage is at Orpheum.
Both theatres have good stage doors for talking to the ladies after the show, although State might be a bit better for that. I've done stage door at both. And they're right across the street from each other, so same options for restaurants and parking. I'd be happy with either one.
The Twin Cities shows I've been to are:
Destiny - Mystic Lake
Voices of Angels - Orpheum
Ancient Land - State
Magic of Christmas - Mystic Lake
Postcards From Ireland - State

I was also at Voices of angels but I went in Rochester.
I attended ancient Land and postcards from Ireland when you did.

I went to the Voices of Angels show in Rochester as well. The crowd in Minneapolis was sooooo much better. I love being in the roaring crowds and both Orpheum and State have been fantastic for that.
