I'm glad you started a separate thread. (I did think of you when I heard the news.) Were it not for the mystery of Hannah's departure, everyone would be all-in super stoked about Mairead returning. That's epic!
I'm super excited! Lately my fave songs have been her CW covers / remakes, e.g. Dulaman, Newgrange, etc. She puts her own spin on it and gets to show off her range. Can't wait to see that in person!

Wow! What?  The wording of the announcement is similar to those about Emma. They make it sound like Emma and Mairead C are on board temporarily. (I hope I am wrong about that.) Kind of reminds me of the guest singers on the Decade / X tour. I guess we'll find out more later. But like everyone said, I'd hate for it to be that Hannah was always Plan B. And Plan A was to get bigger names or returning members. I'm really stoked about Mairead C's return though! Just a little conflicted & confused about Hannah.

Nice editing job! Excellent song choices. The songs you chose for Tara, Hayley, Megan for example are on my all-time fave CW songs.

PS. On a side note, Alex used to announce concerts & stuff by an email newsletter from her website (as opposed to social media). Does she still do that? I have emails as recently 2022 but none from 2023.

Hmm. I might know someone who works @ one of those venues. She is always asking me if I see concerts I like. And I know she gets private M&Gs too, if the performers are willing. I'm not sure if it's the right venue yet...only the cities are listed. Wish me luck!
So my friend cannot help me on this one. Apparently some concerts use the marketing & ticketing & services from the venue (where my friend could help), and some concerts handle the marketing & ticketing & services themselves (this tour). Something like that.

Just noticed this extra part in the email:
"Join us for an amazing night of song and dance, plus some very special guests."
Definitely makes me think there will be special guests in the special. I wonder who's coming back for the 20th anniversary!
While it would be awesome to see any former CW ladies to make a special appearance, the most meaningful special guest to me would be David Downes. That would be really nice to see.

I have a similar problem here. I’m due to start college in Ireland this fall, but my scheduled arrival date is over 2 weeks after the recording day. 😭
Anyways, good luck to those who registered! I hope you’ll be successful in getting a ticket.
Oh that sounds fun too. Congrats! I'm 100% sure you'll have plenty of chances to see some of the small concerts in pubs & churches from the ex CW ladies while you're there.

Oh no!!! My daughter starts school the day before. Ugh. School.  Well best of luck to those of you who registered. I'm assuming it's a lottery system??? You'll have to be our eyes and ears, especially who the special guests are.

Wow! Of all the speculation & discussion, this is the best!
We just couldn't figure out the timing. But it makes sense now. Something they can promote on PBS later before they go out on the US tour.
