@dbbii That's pretty impressive! Did you see different lineups for X / Decade? You've seen everyone. So who is on your Mt Rushmore of CW (i.e. pick one violinist & 3-4 singers)?

So the CT website says North America Fall 2023. But if you do a little surfing, it looks like they started reserving some venues for Spring 2024.
Something doesn't add up. Hmm...

I know - right? Well when I read "special shows", I think of something like CWazyTom in Reply #25. Like some former members coming back for a one time show in Dublin. But not for a big tour. Who knows? It's fun to speculate though.

Yeah, that's kind of confusing to me. I found this quote : "The Celtic Woman also gave an exclusive announcement and stated that with 2024 being the 20th Anniversary of the group, it will feature some special shows coming up in the years ahead." from this article: https://www.fox21news.com/living-local/exclusive-celtic-woman-to-perform-in-denver-monday/Although the phrase "some special shows coming up in the years ahead" isn't really specific.

Also I didn't know that was a lineup that was together on the Decade tour - Mairead N, Mairead C, Susan, Lynn, Alex.
I would love for former members to come back like that for the 20th anniversary tour ... whenever that is.

(I got permission to post this from admin.) This is not my auction. I just thought you guys might like looking at it. It looks like a signed drumhead from the Decade tour signed by everyone. EVERYONE. I can only name a few other signatures besides the principals. I'm sure there are members on here who can identify all the signatures! (Hover your mouse over the picture in the auction to zoom in.) https://tinyurl.com/535d5shx

Yeah they celebrate the anniversary from the RELEASE of the original show/album/start of original tour.
[edit]
*'25 tour is XX or CW20 or whatever they might call it.
Got it. Thanks. I also appreciate your Reply #4 on this thread, the one with the release dates. Although it makes me upset that I missed out on so many good tours / concerts all those years.

If it's a quiet year in terms of touring & a new album, here's my wish list on other things I'd LIKE to see in 2023. - Release Christmas Cards from Ireland in hard CD format. - More non-music merch (e.g. calendars, postcards set from PFI, Christmas ornaments that were sold on the Symphony tour, etc.). - More contests through their socials (e.g. signed postcard set). BTW I like how they call them "Competitions". - Signed / autographed stuff in their store. A lot of other artists have signed CDs & other stuff. One of the coolest things I've seen is Keith Harkin (from Celtic Thunder) would send you a signed postcard while traveling on tour.

I got caught up in the rumors of an anniversary tour in 2024. Then I wondered if they release the anniversary album before or after the tour. But then I checked (and as I'm sure you all know) ... Decade was released in 2015, and Celebration was released in 2020. So that 20th anniversary album ain't coming any time soon ... say 2025.
So I would think there's plenty of time to release a new album with new material with Hannah this year. Especially because they're not touring.

At the moment, my only trips to Ireland involve seeing our favorite ladies. I would do a Celtic Woman bus tour, but I'm not holding my breath for that one.
Now that's a great idea! If that happens, I'll see you there!

Oh wow. I didn't know that Colm Keegan was in CW. Thanks for that. I love all his solos from CT "Mythology". That got a lot of air play on my local PBS station when it was released. A lot. My favorite part of his website is that he leads tours across Ireland & other parts of the UK. That would be on my bucket list. https://tours.colmkeegan.com/

If you check the CT website, it says the tour is rescheduled for Fall 2023. The pic also says : New Music - New Show - New Format https://www.celticthunder.com/tour/I hadn't checked the CT site in a while because it's been pretty quiet.

@Tracie Nice! Was it a paid M&G, or one where they just M&G everyone after the show? (If that sounds crazy, I've been to a few musicals where the star is just standing in the lobby or sitting at a table signing stuff after the show.)
