I’m new to the fandom, please forgive me!

Since we didn’t get a DVD for 2019’s The Magic Of Christmas (hereby TMOC to lighten the burden upon my fingers) or last year’s Nollaig: A Christmas Journey (or NACJ), what if we got a mashup DVD of the two albums with the current lineup?

The opening could be God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen from NACJ and then maybe Deck The Halls or another one of those energetic numbers from TMOC. They could then alternate doing maybe two TMOC songs and then two NACJ songs or likewise. I’m too tired right now, but I’ll add some setlist concepts for the DVD tomorrow.

As for the solos, this could also work quite nicely as on both albums, each vocalist got one and there were two instrumentals on each. Muirgen would sing get Dia Do Bheatha (which she already sang on tour and besides, it’s high time we got an entirely Irish Muirgen solo!) and The Wexford Carol, Caitríona Do You Hear What I Hear and Don Oíche Úd I mBeithil, and Mairéad O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and River! Tara/Ciara would get four solos, which is a lot, but this could be solved in one of two ways: either have both Tara and Ciara be violinists like on NACJ or cut out some solos. Some songs would probably have to be cut out anyway as there are 28 songs combined on the albums, and they also might want to perform some songs from Christmas Cards From Ireland (though I believe that already got a special, hence why I haven’t mentioned it. Also, it’s an EP.).

It would be nice to have a little tribute section to mention all of those who had performed at Christmas concerts since TMOC came out. Also, what if they got a feature on there, à la the 20th anniversary special? Like if we had all the members since 2019 (minus maybe Chloë because I don’t think she performed for any Symphony concerts) perform Auld Lang Syne. That’s probably an impossible request, but it could be sweet 🤷‍♀️ (this is also partially because I miss Emma 😭 also, does anyone have any clips of her singing Do You Hear What I Hear?)

They might not be able to bring Sibéal back, so maybe they could perform the songs like they did on tour or just not sing them to help make space…? But I hope not, as Codail A Linbh is my favourite song from either album and Nollaig na mBan feels like a defining song for NACJ. I do hope they’ll let Don Oíche Úd I mBeithil be a Caitríona solo, though.

I know where you are coming from. It is so easy now & more common for artists to put out 'visualizers', lyric videos, or in this case yule log videos. I thought there would be some videos for Nollaig since they teased it with some BTS videos.

They did do a good job on Christmas Cards. If I ever get around to it, I am going to make a hard CD of that EP & try to make it look professionally made.

Christmas Cards is so Good! It's practically as better than Postcards from Ireland. The whole idea of Celtic Woman riding on magical carasuel and can't stop watching I Saw Three Ships, that whole choreography and the way they sang and instrument was like a carnival ride of it's own!
For those who missed Susan and missed her on Ancient Land this along her two appearances on POI was a complete Dream Come True! It's Ironic that Chloe departed before HFC Special and now this!  :P

I have been listening to the 20th songs lately, like Sionann and Rainbow. Emma is so good. I wish there is some way she can come back.
