The objective of this game is to guess the name of the song based on clues.

There were a number of variations of this game on the old forum. I thought it might be fun to leave the format for this wide open.

The tune has to be a Celtic Woman song or a song performed by a current/former lead CW performer, choir member, or guest performer. But aside from that, you can fashion your clues in any way you wish.

Here's one to start the ball rolling.

Name a tune that has the following words:

heart, valleys, endless

Ok. I posted right away because I had another question I wanted to ask. Apparently, I have to up my game when it comes to CW trivia. This is a smart crowd.

I have something in mind. I better check my facts first. BFN  ;)

Hopefully this is more challenging. I remember it because I thought it was interesting at the time.

During the pandemic, there was a transition time when there were 3 CW in the group. They each published a personal Spotify playlist. No CW songs appeared on all 3 lists. Only one CW song (same recording) appeared on two of the lists.

Name that tune.

Any wild guesses? It's ok to be wrong. That's part of the fun.

Hint #1: All 3 CW who published this Spotify playlist perform on the song.

I'll Guess

The Parting Glass?

Not correct.

But close & pretty good for a guess because you are on the right album (possibly)!  (That's Hint #2.) ;)

Tricky! I understand your guess though because of Hint #2. The album is Ancient Land Deluxe / Ancient Land. The song is on both (while Parting Glass is on Deluxe). From Hint #1 & the original clue, you can figure out the CW who published the lists are Tara, Megan, Mairead C.

(That's Hint #3.)

I'm going to guess Mná na hÉireann They are on both the Believe DVD and the Ancient land regular album.

After that I have no more ideas. (We might need another hint)

Not correct.

But it's super super close!!! Let me clarify Hint #3:
"The song is on both (while Parting Glass is on Deluxe)."
.. meaning the song is on Ancient Land and Ancient Land Deluxe. It is not on Believe.

The reason you are super close is because the song is sung in Irish / Gaelic.

(That's Hint #4.)

Just to confirm I only have Apple Music and not Spotify,

Guessing Siúil a Rúin Sadhbh Ní Bhruineallaigh

Did you get my PM? They did.

EDIT: more confident guess.

99.99% there. Those are lyrics in the song, but the song has another title on Ancient Land.

(That's Hint #5.)

PS. Make sure you are having fun with this!  ;)
