Tonight is the final of the Eurovision 2018 song contest, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Celtic Woman has a particular interest in the proceedings since Ireland's entry (Together, by Ryan O'Shaughnessy) features former Celtic Woman choir member / dancer Alan McGrath.

Our girls are excited and support the song and its message.

43 countries participated. The final has it narrowed down to 26, including Ireland, with Ireland performing tonight at #24.

You get to vote if you're in any of the 43 participating countries, but you can't vote for the country you're in (ie. you can only vote for Ireland from one of the other 42 countries).

After all songs have been performed, you can vote for your favourites for ~15 minutes. You can vote by telephone and SMS  (text) through the numbers shown on your screen, and via the official app. Rates and legal terms will be shown on screen. You can vote up to 20 times, but you cannot vote for the country you are voting from. Televotes make up 50% of the result, the other 50% are being determined by a professional jury in each participating country.

Cyprus are the favourites to win with Eleni Foureira’s "Fuego," (about 6:5 odds, or 45% chance) but Ireland is currently third with oddsmakers at around 7/1 (12%).
