Bridid 1500 confirmed that Lisa L will be part of the music lineup for the festival that will run from Jan 27 to Feb 4. They haven't stated which day she will perform, so I won't post to the calendar until I know when

Forgive me if I seem dumb, but what is causing the hardware to fail? The fact that it’s outdated?

Megan Ruby Walsh / Christmas Classics by Candlelight mini tour
« on: December 12, 2023, 06:10:42 PM »
Frank Mcnamara is doing a mini Christmas tour in churches across Ireland and Megan is one of the featured performers.
From the way Megan has been posting, it sounds like she’s doing all of the dates listed on eventbrite. If I’m wrong, I’ll delete the dates from the calender

I think David D added the song for the DVD, which was filmed a year after the CD came out.
But I do wish they added it to a deluxe version of the CD or something like that. Even a new version of the song for their next Christmas special would be nice.

I was looking through some of Riverdance's old posts, and there's one for Emma on January 27

On Emma's FB post sharing the behind the scenes image of the 20th anniversary show, the Helen Jordan Stage school posted a pic of Emma and other students being a part of Chloe's mom pantomime. The person circled in black is Emma and I think the blonde in the far upper right is Chloe

Is The Hills of Ireland the actual song? I’ve heard other people perform it, but it was shorter than the version on Destiny

I think I remember Michelle Obama mentioning she was a fan of them during the SFTH era
Didn’t the initial SFTH group  (I say initial because the group changed more than once) sing for president Obama?
Yes, they sand at the White House Christmas tree lighting

O Holy Night on the CCFI EP also needs to be remastered. The music was too loud.

Postcards from Ireland. I won’t listen to that one for that reason. The orchestra drowns out the voices and you can barely hear Tara either.

I agree about that album. In Wild Mountain Thyme, one girl drowned out the others whenever all were singing, which drove me nuts. I like how the music was arranged with the bagpipes, but the music was louder than the girls a lot.
