Got my priority tickets for PPAC in Providence, R,I. March 26th......second row(pit)......taking my neighbor`s 16 year old daughter, Sasha, with me. I take her to and from school every day and she hears CW daily in the car and really likes them. she`s like the daughter I never had, so I`m treating her to a show...a.k.a. "Spoil a Kazackh" , its where she was born , came here as an infant.She is now the "Keltic Kazackh" .

I`ve got 8, but it should be 8 and a half because I got a shoutout AFTER a show by Mairead C. (for my "Got Maired?" shirt) and one from Mairead N. for a sign(she told me at the bus n` greet that she saw it from the stage.)

I`d like to see them tackle the southern favorite "Diggy Liggy".....watched the Czech group , Country Sisters, do it.....in the Czech language.....so maybe CW could try it in Irish?

Nine shows up to now....seen them all except Deidre, Hayley and Orla. Got to meet Tara, MC, Susan, Eahba, Megan, and Mairead Nesbitt at "bus`n greets".

Talk about TOUGH choices! I`ve seen them all except for Hayley and Orla. Mairead Nesbitt is the reason I got interested in CW, besides her musical talent, she`s a STUNNING beauty. When I got to meet her at a "bus `n greet" a few years ago, I was amazed at how TINY she is up close. But she signed my "Fiddler Crossing" sign and our hands touched as I gave her the Sharpie pen...sigh.As for Alex....OMG....what a stage presence...that voice and those BLUE eyes. But ALL of them are truly AWESOME!I `ve NEVER been disappointed with a CW show....and that`s NINE of them.

One of my neighbors from a couple of streets over is pregnant with daughter number three....her name is Alex  and I asked her about potential names and she gave me a few they`ve thought of.They have an Irish last name so I said "how about Maev?" and she looked at me and said "I LOVE that, we`ll definitely consider it".

Hey guys, we`ve all seen Mairead N. and Cora Smythe doing "Dueling Violins " on Youtube.Well, check out the Czech group "Country Sisters" doing the same number. It`s current fiddler Maggie and former fiddler Linda (be still my heart  ) Jarosova doing the same number. This be an "offshoot" of this thread but my elderly Irish neighbor(in her 90`s) has great SAYINGS. Like when she and her late husband would go to a restaurant and there weren`t many people there"well....there wasen`t a sinner in the place". If she had to go shopping, it was ".....and don`t I have to go shopping?" the best one was "I haven`t seen that person in donkeys years"  ...I used that one on Mairead C. after a show a few years ago when I told her"I`ve been coming to shows for donkeys years"....she looked at me , quite startled and I said "I have an Irish neighbor"

Always loved Coast Of Galicia.....have seen Mairead N. play it a couple of times in person....as well as Granuaille`s Dance(it`s pronounced Gron ya) and Tara`s Tunes.
