Toured 2023 / Re: Tour Postponed?
« on: October 29, 2022, 08:07:53 PM »
If it is true and the tour is postponed, that means the new member, Hannah, won't experience her first tour until 2024.

It doesn't sound like their normal operations to skip a year of touring. This will be a big announcement from CW when the do plan to announce what is being planned.

Interesting seeing Dermot again.

I was wondering if him and Chloe had a fall out. He's been missing for some time now.

Celtic Woman / Re: New member auditions

I think it's interesting that we never see an position announcement like this posted to the public, especially on their website. Most of the time they are searching and auditioning for new members behind the scenes and make it public at the announcement of a new member. This makes me wonder if they already done this part of the process with no success and opened it up to the public to audition.

I did see last night Chloe posted she's looking forward to joining the group again, but the new members still make an appearance on the DVD and it could be sub titled as "with guest appearance Chloe Agnew." That is my thoughts, have the new member in the recording to help capture promotion material for next year tour and have Chloe as the guest like she was for Celebration and this tour. When Tara joined and Eabha joined, they both joined at the fall leg of the their tours then debut on the next filmed concert.

:o Did anyone else see the news on Tara's Instagram?

According to the post, it sounds like she took a great tumble while on her daily runs. Glad she's ok. She won't be doing much dancing and running on stage for a while.

Celtic Woman / 10 years of CW using 3 Vocals
« on: May 10, 2022, 08:12:37 AM »
I was browsing YouTube today and noticed that it was around 2011 when the group went from 4 vocals to 3. The amount of time CW had 3 vocals is more than they had 4 vocals in the group.

At this point adding another vocal is not expected to happen. It looks like 3 is the magic number and seems to be doing well for the group.

Chloe Agnew / Concerned about Chloƫ's Vocals
« on: May 07, 2022, 04:52:23 PM »
Has anyone else noticed Chloƫ's vocal are more raspy that it was two years ago? Could she be harming her vocals on tour? Am I over thinking it and it's how's she's maturing? Just wanted to hear everyone else's thoughts. She used to have a smooth angelic voice and nows its deep and raspy sounding.

Postcards from Ireland / Re: Does you have the DVD?

The producer Peter Brady, who I haven't seen since ANJ or SFTH DVD special, makes an appearance.

Does anybody own the Postcards from Ireland DVD yet? If so, would you fancy giving me some info, especially about the behind-the-scenes footage and interviews included?

I just received my copy from Amazon today. The behind the scenes video is well worth it. In 12 minutes they brought the whole special together and hearing each one put in their own words what the special means to them is heart touching. I really enjoyed watching it.

Postcards from Ireland / Re: The dresses

The million dollar question.....

How will they work the dresses into the tour? Will it be like the special or will they stick to act 1 and act 2 like other tours?

Interview with Chloe Agnew about her time with the group and CW's Postcards From Ireland Album and Special:

https://www.sundayworld.com/showbiz/irish-showbiz/celtic-womans-chloe-agnew-reveals-what-it-was-like-to-hit-the-big-time-with-the-group-at-15-41025799.html?fbclid=IwAR2M_rRsaKKvIO5xd7OQOhBhxqkwgFZm5XQmYLEyNfHorIBvlB2fWfoTxds

It sounds like Chloe may be back just a little longer than we thought. Just the way she describes that coming back was the best thing with her being different from the solo work and stepping in as more mature artist.

I'm still wondering how Susan is involved!! Is it as an understudy? Does she have a part in the album and tour? Did the group become four to now five girls again after ten years?

This is all fascinating. I didn't start attending tours until Believe. Was too young and still in school. Interesting on how the old tours worked.
