You may have heard people mentioning Threads recently and they're probably referring to the new social media app released by Meta (Facebook / Instagram).

It's essentially a competitor to Twitter.

It has a new app you have to install on your phone, but it's pretty easy to set up. It only took me a couple of minutes. You can transfer your profile (username, profile pic, accounts you follow, etc) from Instagram during the setup process.

Máiréad Nesbitt is on Threads already and it's likely at least some of the other CW members (past and present) will at least experiment with it.

Didn't I see something that says you can't delete Threads without deleting Facebook?  I mean how many social media platforms does one need?
