Bandcamp is usually a good place to buy music from independent artists. It likely gives artists a higher percentage of proceeds than other platforms, especially on Bandcamp Fridays (1st Friday of each month), when all proceeds go to the artist. Bandcamp is also one of the few platforms where you have the option of paying more if you can and choose to do so, because let's be honest, at $0.99 per song or less, they're not making much total revenue from a release.
