Celebration's on Tour / Re: 2021 Tour Postponed
« on: January 09, 2021, 09:31:23 PM »
In fact, the shows in Killarney - Ireland have not been rescheduled to the next year. There are three shows that will take place in August, and Tara confirmed last year that it would be recording a new PBS special.

This is worrying! After this announcement I have many doubts in my mind and it may be interesting to share with you. I am concerned about the financial situation of the group, how will they support themselves? it's been almost two years without working on anything, so it makes me a little anxious. Another main doubt is: Chloë! Will she still be in the group? Theoretically, she would only be in the group just for the Celebration tour, and as far as the 2022 tour is concerned, it will no longer be "Celebration" but something new based on the "new PBS special".

My Hypotheses:
1. Chloë's journey back in the group is over and this will be the end of her activities as a "special guest". And a new girl will be announced for the recording of the show in Ireland.

2. The CW board has changed plans and the shows in Ireland will be based entirely on last year's tour and will be the Celebration DVD and Chloë will participate in both the DVD and the 2022 Tour. And the real "new PBS special" will be postponed next year.

3. In some countries Pandemic has already stagnated (Australia & New Zealand) and in some countries vaccination has already started (UK) and others will start in late January (Brazil, my country). If Ireland may be able to end the pandemic there, perhaps CW will tour there to earn money for future projects.

But what you guys think?

WOW, Chloe singing Mo Ghile Mear was absolutely amazing! Since when I saw the tour set list, I was curious to know what MGM would look like in Chloe's voice. I'm looking forward to listening to the other songs, so please guys, if you have more videos from the tour, share them with me.  ;D ;D

I intend o go to this show, see the DVD recording and, of course, meet you guys. Unfortunately I'm still a young man who goes to college and still depend on my parents. But if all goes well, I will be able to go and find you guys there! I will try to go ;D

One of the things that I most like, is speculate about the future! So I thought it would be cool to speculate about the show at INEC Arena in August next year

Tara confirmed today in her stories on the intagram that yes! the show at INEC arena that would happen today was the recording of a DVD, we all knew that, after all, it is a show in ireland for three consecutive days and in august. It wasn't new to anyone, right? BUT on the official website Celticwoman.com/tour-dates/ these shows in ireland are classified as part of the celebration tour!

What do you think will be different in this Irish show in relation to the American tour? Will the setlist be the same? Lineup, what will it be? Could this be the show that would be on the celebration DVD that was on sale at the PBS store? What do you think about all this?

Please leave your opinions below, I will love to know.  ;D

PS: I'm not fluent in the English language, so if I made any grammatical mistakes, forgive me  ;)

1) thankfully it was just that. I was thinking that there was some disagreement between her and CW

2) Now I understand why Celtic Woman released Voice of Angels and Homecoming, classic songs with different arrangements (most). Because before I thought "why make new arrangements in songs that were already good?" but now I understand, and in fact the new arrangements were as good as the old ones

3) Well, at least Chloe came back and is very excited about Celebration (she was, the tour was rescheduled), maybe Lisa will also change her mind in the future (she has been posting things on facebook about CW Celebration Album, her photo from Believe DVD ... let's see)

Thank you very much Glen. I will try to be participative in the forum as much as I can. Thanks to all the forum staff for allowing me here.
* If I made an English mistake, please forgive me guys

New Members / Hellou From Brazil!!
« on: March 20, 2020, 10:46:03 AM »
Hello guys my name is Ênio I am Brazilian and I am 19 years old!  ;D

How I Met the Group:
in January 2018 I was looking for a cover of the song May It Be (I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings) and found Hayley Westera's version singing on her show / DVD. I fell in love with her, after some more research I found the video of Hayley singing Scarborough Fair on the DVD A New Journey, after that I also saw Orinoco Flow and The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun. And that's how I met Celtic Woman .
I researched more deeply about the group, because every time I saw a different show, the members also changed. After almost freaking out, being able to understand the entire line up of women who have already participated in Celtic Woman and I love each one of them.
Celtic Woman became my favorite music group, every time I listened to a new song I immediately liked it. I have all the Albums / Songs on my smartphone.

It must be very funny to think that a 17-year-old boy met such a famous group at just that age. But as I said earlier, I am Brazilian and Brazil does not have the same appeal for Celtic Woman as US does.

So, having said all that, I'm a big fan, but but but I have some questions for you who are older and know more about the group than I do. 1) I saw it in a forum post that said Deirdre Shannon's departure was a shame. Can someone explain better to me what happened because I researched about it and found nothing about it. 2) I also saw in a previous post saying that David and Celtic Woman don't get along much more, it was researching about, and the only thing I found was news from The Time saying that David "is seeking to wind up the company behind the act, claiming he is owed a “substantial” sum of money. " I was so surprised and so angry, but can anyone better explain this situation? I don't want to judge David without knowing what actually happened. 3) I also saw in previous posts saying that Chloe and Lisa K were arrogant when talking about Celtic Woman, is that true?

Well guys this is it! I know the whole story about Celtic Woman but I have these 3 doubts that were killing me. Please forgive me if I made any mistake in English, I studied English at school and in the course but I am not fluent! so forgive me please.
