Celtic Woman / Re: Album number of Solos Topic
« Last post by rfcw on Today at 09:16:06 PM »
For example: it's very fortunate Megan got 2 solos on Postcards of Ireland meanwhile both Muirgen and Chloe only had one including part time Susan. Since this was Megan's last special it's really amazing..

Celtic Woman / Album number of Solos Topic
« Last post by rfcw on Today at 09:12:04 PM »
I find it interesting by specials throughout the 20 year span how there are similarities whether it's some members having less Solos than others or some of them have a different kind of dress on tour while others where same style same exact color as the special they represented.

Aw thank you, I was thinking it's own thread would be great 👍🫠

I don't know how to pick whether by favorites or by the best!

Hi Ashlynn, I can see the photo now! Above her signature, Mairéad wrote "slainte" which is an Irish cheers/toast.

Hello everyone! I posted this a week ago but my image was having trouble uploading. Thanks to CWazy Tom and GlennS, they got it going! I wanted to post the original post so that those who have not seen it may be able to read it.

I'm new around here. My name is Ashlyn Keller and on the 18th I got to see my very first Celtic Woman concert! It was such a special evening and I was praying the whole time that somehow I would be able to meet the members. It actually happened! I've looked up to Mairead since I was about 14, and I was able to meet her after so many years of waiting. We took a picture together, and after I nervously asked, "Can I ask you a somewhat personal question?" She looked at me, grinned, and replied, "It depends..." my question probably came off as weird... I should've rephrased it. I began, "I know your dad passed away a few years ago. What kept you going?" She looked at me, smiled, and said, simply, "Music." She then proceeded to ask if I had gone through a loss. I explained I had just lost my father in July, the same month she had. She looked at me and earnestly said, I'm sorry for your loss... and even before we parted, she looked at me and apologized again for my loss. I didn't reply because I didn't know what to say... I was so shocked. She was so kind in taking a few pictures with me and even signed my program, as did the rest of the members. I went to look at it later that night, and, to my dismay, I was unable to make out what she had written. The other members signed something like, "lots of love," or something similar. I can't read what she did write but I know she didn't write anything like that. Can any of you all read it? Hello everyone! I'm new around here. Celtic Woman / Mount Rushmore

In the New Members section, someone made a comment asking who was on your Mount Rushmore of CW.  I thought that was a great question, and deserved it's own thread.

So, for me it's:
   Chloe
    Lisa K
    Lisa L
    Mairead N

Welcome! This is a really neat place here. A great way to find out insider info, and even meet up with other CW fans.

I like to ask people this. Who is on your Mt. Rushmore of CW (e.g. pick a violinist and 3 or 4 singers)?

Oooo have you established your Mt. Rushmore of CW yet? 😁😍

Thanks to Jim for the last contest. I want to pay it forward and do a giveaway myself.

Prize: Win your choice of ONE of the following:
- Signed CD from Alex Sharpe (Broken by Design)
- Witnesses of Christmas hardcover book from Jenny Oaks Baker (w/ sheet music and links to Alex singing the songs)

How to enter: Easy! Guess a random number between 1-100. The correct answer is the number on my wife's VIP badge from CW Christmas 2022. My badge is #49 in my avatar. But the badge numbers are totally random. Closest guess wins.

Deadline: May 31 midnight PST
