So amazon canada currently states the DVD is unavailable, even though the CD is available to preorder.

Is there any hope? I really can't afford buying it direct from CW's online store in Dublin.

I seem to recall this is normal for Amazon Canada and that the DVD usually becomes available there shortly before general release or the day of general release. It will be there, we just have to wait longer here.

Personally, I'm waiting until I can combine the CD and DVD from Amazon Canada in a single order so I get free shipping.

Well, this is unfortunate.

Release time has come and gone. The CD price on Amazon of course got jacked up. The DVD appears in Amazon Canada now, but they appear to all be from 3rd parties (probably bootleg copies or resales of the DVDs from PBS). Also, since the DVD is not sold by "Amazon" it doesn’t contribute to the $35 needed for free shipping.

I then checked on US Amazon and those also seemed to be predominately bootleg or resell copies. I managed to find the DVD sold by "Amazon" but given the picture of the item is wrong, I'm not sure I trust the source. Even if the ones sold by Amazon.com (not some sketchy seller listing on Amazon), there is of course shipping cost and import fees, rather than the free shipping I'd have within the coutry.

I'm not sure what's happening here. I might have to order directly from the Celtic Woman site and absorb the shipping cost.

I had the same problem with Amazon Canada.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and order it straight from CW in Dublin. 68 CAD for both the CD and DVD.

I went for the cheaper shipping option.

My CD and DVD left Dublin (they added tracking for free) and has been stuck in Frankfurt since January 31st.

CW store isn't being any help. I'm going to wait after the 13th to see if it arrives and if not, raise some hell.

More like "my package has been stuck in Frankfurt since January 31st. I went through you because you are the official seller of Celtic Woman merchandise and I couldn't get the items I wanted otherwise. Can you please look into why my package hasn't moved in 11 (currently) days? Can you please open an investigation as to where my package is?"

If I could I'd call them personally on my cell, but international calling to Ireland is $1.50 CAD A MINUTE.

I attached my tracking info (nothing personal)

Writing again, no good news again.

CW Store has not responded to my request.

I have contacted DHL under a "complaint" and will be waiting to see what they have to say:

I have been waiting for this package since January 29th. It has been stuck in Frankfurt since the 31st of the same month.

I have contacted the vendor and they have not responded to my requests for comment.

Can you please look into where my package is?

Just got this this morning from the CW Store:

Hi Jerad,
DHL have come back and said they can't locate where the package is. I will have to send another order via signed delivery is that ok with you?
Very sorry about this we don't loose many orders as DHL are quite reliable.
Please let me know if it's ok to send a fresh order.
