First of all, sorry to hear about your dad. I'll say a little prayer for you.

Thanks for sharing your experience with CW. Great story!

No, I don't see your photo. The easiest way to show pics on here (for me) has been posting a link to another website that actually hosts the pic.

Wow! Thank you for sharing us your heartfelt experience with Mairead and CW and how finally able to meeting them meant so much to you, and realizing that you share the same thing whatever it is it's the united front that we are all in this incredible life together! ❤️

Hello everyone! I'm new around here. My name is Ashlyn Keller and on the 18th I got to see my very first Celtic Woman concert! It was such a special evening and I was praying the whole time that somehow I would be able to meet the members. It actually happened! I've looked up to Mairead since I was about 14, and I was able to meet her after so many years of waiting. We took a picture together, and after I nervously asked, "Can I ask you a somewhat personal question?" She looked at me, grinned, and replied, "It depends..." my question probably came off as weird... I should've rephrased it. I began, "I know your dad passed away a few years ago. What kept you going?" She looked at me, smiled, and said, simply, "Music." She then proceeded to ask if I had gone through a loss. I explained I had just lost my father in July, the same month she had. She looked at me and earnestly said, I'm sorry for your loss... and even before we parted, she looked at me and apologized again for my loss. I didn't reply because I didn't know what to say... I was so shocked. She was so kind in taking a few pictures with me and even signed my program, as did the rest of the members. I went to look at it later that night, and, to my dismay, I was unable to make out what she had written. The other members signed something like, "lots of love," or something similar. I can't read what she did write but I know she didn't write anything like that. Can any of you all read it? I'm having trouble posting a picture, so if one doesn't show up don't be alarmed

Fun and Games / Contest: Win a signed CD from Alex Sharpe
« Last post by LakersCeltics on Today at 06:44:03 PM »
Thanks to Jim for the last contest. I want to pay it forward and do a giveaway myself.

Prize: Win your choice of ONE of the following:
- Signed CD from Alex Sharpe (Broken by Design)
- Witnesses of Christmas hardcover book from Jenny Oaks Baker (w/ sheet music and links to Alex singing the songs)

How to enter: Easy! Guess a random number between 1-100. The correct answer is the number on my wife's VIP badge from CW Christmas 2022. My badge is #49 in my avatar. But the badge numbers are totally random. Closest guess wins.

Deadline: May 31 midnight PST

Celtic Woman 20th Anniversary Tour / Re: After this spring tour ends.

Hmm good question. Assuming they do a Christmas tour, that only gives them June - Nov free. No wonder most of the former CW always say they don't miss the touring.

I'd speculate maybe a short European tour?
