It was 4 shows. I was in the front row for all of them. There were M&Gs for each night. Mairead's parents and friends from Ireland were there, too. I have photos.

And then there was the evening that Mairead Nesbitt snuck up behind me and squeezed me. (I have a witness!) Oh, and that was at the M&G where Kimberly met Chloe for the first time. A GREAT night!!

I have a CW shirt to give away -- for FREE -- including postage to your very own door. Just post here in 25 words or less and tell me why you like Celtic Woman. Or, send me a PM with the same 25 words or less. I will read the replies and choose a winner. (maybe 2)(maybe more). The contest will end on April 21st at 8 PM eastern time (even though I am about a mile from the Pacific Ocean). So......GO! p.s. They only come in 1 size -- XL.

Does anyone have a CW Isle of Hope tour t-shirt they would part with? Size L preferred. New or used is OK, but must be in good condition. (I know there is one on Ebay that is overpriced.) Thank you. Jim

Today, with a Saint Patrick's Day theme, he played CW singing "Danny Boy".

The Carpenters were my favorite! Never got to see them live, but I think I have all their albums.
I saw them live once. I still have a program for that tour, as well as all of the LPs and CDs.

Thanks for the nice comments. Sorry, I cannot post photos at this time. As for Hayley, I never did get to meet her or Meav. I did meet Chloe, both Maireads, both Lisas, Orla, Lynn, Alex, and Susan.

On Feb. 1st, I set up a display of CW items in our local library: Several CDs, a ANJ tour program and songbook, my 2 autographed CW shopping bags, an autographed tour photo from 2008 with 6 ladies and signed by all, a CW 2008 tour shirt with 6 ladies on it, and a Fiddler Crossing sign autographed by Mairead and Lisa K. CW is coming to my area in May and the librarian is going to make a sign for the display that has the info. So, if you get to Florence, Oregon, this month stop by and take a look. I made a separate display in another case of items from the Carpenters, The Moody Blues, and VHS tapes of Michael Flatley shows: Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, and Feet of Flames.

Our local radio station runs a program on Saturdays called "Seems Like Old Times" with Craig Orndorff. He has a new theme each week (usually). Today it was songs about summer and I was surprised when he played CW's "Last Rose of Summer" from the ANJ album. www.oldtimesradio.com
