I'd guess within the next 4 weeks?
Yeah. That's what I'm wondering. And also given that they appear to be in the studio - I wonder if the album will be a late fall just before the symphony tour release or early new year before they leave for tour? I wonder if it'll be a VoA situation or what? Given that they tend to start the tour around the same time every year I feel like the announcement/tickets are around the same time? The tickets are ALWAYS on sale before the symphony tour -- though 2019 when the 2020 dates that were ported to this year first went on sale some were added right around the start of the symphony tour.
Sarasota being scheduled for March 5 makes me wonder if it's a year to start in Lakeland or Pensacola? And Will it be a longer tour (2007, 2011, 2016, 2017) or a shorter tour (2012, 2019)?
Looking at the history:
Original Show (2006): Early March--End of April (of course they came back and did a short summer tour too -- what's the story with 4 USA tours for the original show? - Summer 2005, Fall 2005, Spring 2006, Summer 2006)
A New Journey (2007): Mid-February--End of June (originally scheduled through end of May)
A New Journey (2008): Mid-February--Mid-May.
Isle of Hope (2009): Mid-February--Early July: Big long one ending just weeks before the recording of Songs from the Heart.
Songs from the Heart (2010): Early February--Late May.
Songs from the Heart (2011): Early February--Late May. This was the first one I went to.
Believe (2012): Early February--End of April.
Believe II (2013): Late February--Father's Day.
Emerald (2014): Mid-February--Beginning of June.
X (2015): Early March--End of June.
Destiny (2016): Early March--Early July: Possibly the latest start date ever of March 4.
Voices of Angels (2017): Early March--End of June. I attended again on this tour after a six year absence.
Homecoming (2018): Early March--Father's Day.
Ancient Land (2019): End of February--End of May. I went to this one during the final 10 (shows).
Celebration (2020): End of February--Middle of March (originally slated through early June -- I was slated to go VERY late in the tour: Within the last 10 shows).
Postcards from Ireland (2022): End of February--Beginning of June. I went to this one as well.
Since Voices of Angels they've tended to start on Thursdays some seem to depend on when March 1 falls.
