Albums

- Songbook (2012/2016)

Note regarding Songbook:

Although Songbook is Mairead Carlin's work, she didn't own the rights to the album. After the work sat on a metaphorical shelf for a while, those who owned the rights released the album without her consent (probably trying to cash in on her popularity with Celtic Woman). Mairead wasn't happy about it. She let us know on social media that while she was proud of it, her voice had grown a lot since she recorded the songs and it wasn't representative of her as an artist. Even though Mairead didn't ask fans to boycott the album, part of the fan base boycotted it in support of her.
UPDATE: In recent months, Mairead seems to have begun to embrace her work on the album.

Mairead Carlin was also in The Little Prince (2004), playing the role of The Rose. It was on TV but I don't think it was ever released on VHS/DVD.

I love Mairead's songs on Stay Away From Stars so much! They are beautiful and showcase her gorgeous voice really well! I have Songbook as well, although I do sometimes feel guilty when listening to it, knowing the story of it. I enjoy her voice so much I had to get it.

You forgot to list Destiny as one of the Celtic Woman albums. :)
