I would also love for the next release to be an album of all new songs.

I would love that too! Although if they were to redo some very old classics from ANJ and the original show, that would be awesome too!

I got caught up in the rumors of an anniversary tour in 2024. Then I wondered if they release the anniversary album before or after the tour. But then I checked (and as I'm sure you all know) ... Decade was released in 2015, and Celebration was released in 2020. So that 20th anniversary album ain't coming any time soon ... say 2025.

So I would think there's plenty of time to release a new album with new material with Hannah this year. Especially because they're not touring.

Yeah they celebrate the anniversary from the RELEASE of the original show/album/start of original tour.
I wonder if we'll get
*New album similar to Voices of Angels where it's only a CD and has a lot of new takes on old songs (Original show/ANJ/SFTH/Believe especially)
*Tour in '24.
*Show on tour in '24 is recorded (similar to Emerald being recorded in April '13) and then runs on PBS in November '24 with a 20th anniversary compilation to follow 20 years from the airing of the original show as well as the live show being released as a CD/DVD (like Homecoming -- CD would be live like Homecoming and not studio like Emerald).
*'25 tour is XX or CW20 or whatever they might call it.

Five (six soon I hope) shows.
Songs from the Heart -- 4/26/2011.
Voices of Angels -- June 11, 2017 (plus meet & Greet).
Ancient Land -- May 18, 2019.
PFI — April 16, 2022 -- After two pushbacks due to COVID.
Symphony: December 9, 2023 — At last.
20th anniversary tour -- I hope so.

Got it. Thanks.

I also appreciate your Reply #4 on this thread, the one with the release dates. Although it makes me upset that I missed out on so many good tours / concerts all those years.

I have no idea what's going to happen this year, to be honest. I really don't know what to expect.
In the year-end Instagram video, the girls said they saw some very exciting things in 2023. While everyone was smiling, Megan was wearing, well, how can I put it? little. A very small smile for "An Excited Year 2023"
It reminds me of the 2019 year-end video when the girls said at the end, "See you on the Celebration Tour next year" and Éabha had a very small smile compared to the others, the reason we all know why today.
NO guys, I'm not saying that Megan is leaving the group, but that could be that they have nothing planned at the moment and just said that just to say...

I really don't know what to expect this year—a new album? new DVD? MVs? new EP? mini album? tour this fall? or even nothing. Let's see...

They've not done a second non-holiday North American tour since 2015 which is the only time they've done a second North American leg of a non-holiday show since they started the holiday tour.
Will they do a christmas tour in '23 even if not a regular tour??

What I don't understand is that the 15th anniversary tour was 2020. The rumor is the 20th anniversary tour will be 2024, not even 5 years later. Depending what date their celebrating one of the two anniversaries tours are off.

2004 was the start, but didn't tour until 2005. The anniversary tour should be 2025 not 2024 for celebrating their first tour.

2024 would be 20th anniversary since the first concert which would have made 2019 the 15th anniversary.

Yeah, might have made more sense to record a 20th Anniversary Special on Sept 15, 2024 at The Helix (or on the actual 20th Anniversary of Celtic Woman being created, which was some time before the first DVD recording) and then run a 20th Anniversary Tour in 2025 based to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of their actual touring. Maybe they think an anniversary tour will have a bigger draw than a tour of predominantly new material.

Yeah, that's kind of confusing to me.

I found this quote :
"The Celtic Woman also gave an exclusive announcement and stated that with 2024 being the 20th Anniversary of the group, it will feature some special shows coming up in the years ahead."

from this article:
https://www.fox21news.com/living-local/exclusive-celtic-woman-to-perform-in-denver-monday/

Although the phrase "some special shows coming up in the years ahead" isn't really specific.

Yeah. 10 & 15 were both that number of years from the original tour.

I wonder where was this "exclusive announcement" posted?
