I think most of us have heard of Philip Coulter, a well known Irish musician, songwriter and record producer from Derry, Northern Ireland. Part of his work included being the former musical director of Celtic Thunder.

He's written a lot of songs you may have heard of but may not realize he wrote them. Here are some of them you may recognize.

Ireland's Call (Celtic Thunder's main closing song)
Remember Me (Recuérdame) (which the Celtic Tenors have covered)
Scorn Not His Simplicity
Steal Away (amazing Celtic Thunder harmony number)
Take Me Home (another great song Celtic Thunder covered)
The Old Man (listen to the Margaret Keys version ... devastatingly beautiful!)
The Town I Loved So Well
Yesterday's Men (this is a song George covered in Celtic Thunder)
