Celtic Woman: Amazing Grace on Songs of Praise (2017)

On August 1, 2017, Celtic Woman was in Westport shooting a music video of Amazing Grace for "Songs of Praise."

"What exactly is BBC Songs of Praise?" you might ask. It's a weekly TV show that airs on Sundays on BBC One in the afternoon (the time appears to vary from week to week, but its running time is 35 minutes and it seems to air between 3-5 PM UTC most of the time). The show has a spiritual and musical focus.

Sorry for bumping up this old post. But I found this version of Amazing Grace by accident yesterday. I was wondering if it had already been linked on the forum. Because I was going to start a new thread called "Was this the creative inspiration for Postcards from Ireland?" I just saw this vid for the first time yesterday, and it looks exactly like Postcards. Equally as beautiful & enjoyable.

Yes, I wondered that as well, could be since that's the first of it's kind in this form, Was it Songs of Praise idea at the time!
While this is Mairead and Eabha's only for Susan she has done it twice interestingly and the exact same song for Postcards!

They also did You Raise Me Up in 2015 alongside. I'm glad you posted the Danny Boy link because its hard to find until two people posted on YouTube. If I found another source of Danny Boy I would shared the link below...maybe someone can help I don't if someone can download it and share it on youtube or link.

Thanks for the link. I've never seen that version of YRMU! That's a rare clip for sure. Yes, same set as Danny Boy. I actually thought of you (I'm not joking) when I saw the Danny Boy site because I know you like Lynn.  It's rare to see a clear video of Lynn from that time, and a treat to see her with Susan & Mairead C.
