Listening to it as I type.
Knowing that it opens the special does anyone else get show opener vibes for once the tour starts??

Celtic Woman 20th Anniversary Tour / Re: Album release date.
« on: January 26, 2024, 02:30:38 PM »
Amazon lists a release date of January 26, 2024 for the album.

I pre-ordered the CD from Amazon. It now says it arrives Monday Jan 29 (for me).

Remember if you order CDs from Amazon, you can stream them on Amazon Music right away. So I'm going to listen all day today. I hope 'Parting Glass' and 'You Raise Me Up' sound better (mixed better) on CD than on the special... ;)
Not always but I know this one you can.

Neither of my stations have had it yet (I have two -- one has serious signal issues).
There was an airing of Ancient Land that I recorded right before Thanksgiving of '19 (AFTER seeing the tour) that was really hard to watch because the signal was very choppy.

I think David D added the song for the DVD, which was filmed a year after the CD came out.
But I do wish they added it to a deluxe version of the CD or something like that. Even a new version of the song for their next Christmas special would be nice.
Yeah. Unless it was recorded for the CD too but left off it???

I have the A Christmas Celebration concert from 2007 up on YouTube right now.
They just finished singing The First Noel which they have NEVER put on a CD.
It's VERY much something Lisa Lambe or Eabha could have led -- it fits BOTH their voices.
WHAT are they thinking leaving it off the CDs -- it's probably one of those songs that every member ever of Celtic Woman has sung throughout their lives.

Here’s a good one.
You can close your eyes.
It was written by James Taylor in the early 70s.

As I have a casino date this year I want to know what they do as far as shortening the show?? It’s gotta be no more than 90 minutes in a casino right??? Do they cut a song?? Two songs??? They usually cut intermission don’t they???

Merch has never done where they give the ladies a stack of CDs or programs or something to sign then having the option to purchase a signed CD when purchasing a CD at the merch table have they????
Several years ago when I saw Kristin Chenoweth she got a stack of 5 copies of her then latest CD and signed them and I got one.

What would make the M&G more overpriced is if they go back to meeting only 2 of the ladies. For those prices I'm kind of expecting to meet all 4.

For $1200, you should get to have coffee with them! :P
Definitely $1200 is something where you should get two show tickets, a copy or two of the CD, private meal or
Something  with all the ladies.

There's definitely gaps to fill in on the schedule, which we'll probably find out fairly soon. I'm particularly interested in April 16th - no show listed for that date yet and in between two Wisconsin shows. Very likely that's a Minnesota show!
Good question. Especially since the 10th and 15th anniversaries skipped MN

A Christmas Symphony Tour 2023 / Re: Is this the Christmas set list?
« on: November 14, 2023, 09:04:57 PM »
The venue in SoCal has a link on their website that says "Listen to this concert" on Spotify. I'm wondering if this is the real set list, or just a general Christmas promo. What do you think? I wouldn't mind at all if this is the real set list!!! ;D

Here is the Spotify play list. (I'll type it here for your convenience.)
The Toys' Waltz
I Saw Three Ships
O Holy Night
Carol Of The Bells
Auld Lang Syne
Dia Do Bheatha
Amid The Failling Snow
Hark The Herald Angels Sing
We Three Kings
Silent Night
Winter Wonderland
Christmas Pipes
Don Oiche Ud I mBeithil
The Christmas Song
Let It Snow

Or see for yourself:

Good question. I bet most if not all of those songs will be in the setlist.

@CWFella2011: I see you did change your sig! We're happy for you!  ;)

@GlenS: I just noticed the countdown on the scrolling headline of the forum. Nice job!

Can't believe the Christmas tour is starting soon! It doesn't seem like Christmas yet...
@LakersCeltic. So glad to finally go.

I heard them for free at the Minnesota state fair a year ago.
Four sisters who have a twist to their music.
Their latest CD is called paper Daisies.
