The wind chill here in Minneapolis right now is -47. Tomorrow it's supposed to be -60. I thankfully can work from home tomorrow. Wish Gregg could too. On Saturday it's supposed to be +38 here. 100 degrees warmer! That'll feel amazing!

Lisa Lambe / Re: Favorite Lisa L solo with Celtic Woman?

I have to go with Auld Lang Syne for Lisa L. Absolutely love her singing that song! I'll Be Home For Christmas is a very close second.

That's wonderful Glen! Sounds like they're having an amazing time. That's so great that your grandson beat cancer and got to have his wish come true! He'll be talking about this experience for years to come! 😀

Celtic Woman / Re: Favorite CW Christmas DVD
« on: January 13, 2019, 09:18:19 PM »
Home For Christmas for the white shining sparkled dresses, the red, the tree setting, the thrill to hear Meav sing with Lisa L! More powerful and Energetic Numbers like Hark the Herald Angel's Sing!*

And Susan!

I really missed Chloë but of all Sue's work on DVD with Celtic Woman, I think I love Home for Christmas the most. <3

The powerful sound in Home for Christmas and Méav's breathtaking high notes in the group numbers were really epic. But the harmony and all the subtle beauty of A Christmas Celebration was really amazing! And A Christmas Celebration had Chloë and Amy Rivard! But Home for Christmas had Susan!

Arghhh, I can't choose!

There's only one way to settle this. Girls: we need a third Celtic Woman Christmas DVD and we need it to be the best one EVER!!! Woooooooooo!!!!

Yes! Absolutely yes! I very much want a new Christmas album and DVD from the current ladies!

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Alex perform live, but I would love to someday!

Gregg and I had a dog named Curley, a cocker spaniel.  We had adopted him at age 7 and he was our baby.  He passed away exactly one year ago today at age 14.  But today is not a day to only be sad about reaching one year without Curley.  Because today we adopted our new dog, Sam!  He is an 8 year old cocker spaniel.  He reminds me so much of Curley already, in looks and attitude.  Although at the moment he's doing something Curley never did - he's laying on top of our end table watching me type this.  Yup, the end table.  Sure then dog, whatever you want!

Mairead Carlin / Re: Favorite Mairead solo with Celtic Woman

Oh I just clicked back to Tom's original post of this and I see why I didn't read it before - it said potential spoilers for the Christmas tour and I was so intent on going to that show without spoilers. I think there's still a lot of stuff on the forum for me to go back to and read now that I saw the Christmas show (and go back to finishing my write up of it). I've been so busy lately I just haven't found time to sit and figure out what all to say in my write up and how to word it.

That's an excellent article! I remember seeing that Tom had posted it but I must not have had time to read it or something and forgot to go back to it. I'm very glad you re-posted it David!
