Title: Lisa Lambe's Killruddery album
Post by: CWazyTom on September 29, 2018, 12:42:43 PM
Back in 2016, Lisa announced her artist residency at Killruddery (http://www.killruddery.com/) on Twitter.

She was creating and recording her new album there along with Martin Brunsden and Fiachna Ó Braonáin.

As I travel on the road , I carry my music sketches and album demos with me and I'm listening & listening and reslistenng snd sketching and thinking ... I am so excited to be recording and capturing it all fully in December in the Library room at Killruddery where it was written and created. I'm proud of the process and very proud to be artist in residence here in this stunning place. It's in my creative bones now and I look forward to sharing more of the music and the process with you soon x Lisa x Thank you Killruddery, Martin Brunsden and @fobraonain

Last year, Lisa Lambe did a YouTube video with Declan Sessions. She performed her new song Hazelwood from the confines of a camper:

I'm sure everyone is already familiar with Declan Sessions  ::) but for those who aren't:

At that time, the album was already recorded. I knew there were some challenges behind the scenes that were going to prevent it from being released, but I was hopeful it wouldn't be too long. A year later, not only has that album not been released, I haven't heard anything more about it.

Maybe there's still hope for the album she wrote and recorded in Killruddery a couple of years ago, or perhaps Hazelwood will make an appearance on her new album schedule for release in 2019.
