We have some wonderful news to share with our Celtic Woman family - please join us in wishing a huge congratulations to #CelticWoman, Emma Warren, who is expecting her first baby! We are over so excited for Emma and her husband, Sean, as they embark on this exciting journey.

While Emma will be stepping out for our upcoming Symphony tour, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that the fabulous Lisa Lambe will be re-joining us for the White Christmas tour! We can’t wait to see you all soon! 🎶✨

Thanks for posting. This is awesome! I saw Lisa's post on IG, but didn't have time to look for why. Like I thought someone was leaving permanently (which is always possible). That clears it up. Good news all the way around!

Yes, the title's weird,  :P but with Lisa L coming back for this tour, this has to be the first time there two redheads in the lineup for CW.

CW Musicians and Choir / Re: Brian McGrane

During Brian's StageIt today as "Engrane," he announced that in addition to some singles, he's working on an album with Laura Keegan (Durrant), which is tentatively planned for release in the summer of 2025.

The StageIt itself was a nice listen. It was mostly instrumental and Brian's created a really fresh relaxing sound. I suppose the closest style to it is atmospheric spa music.

My sprawling collection of music stemming from my appreciation of Celtic Woman is extensive, but this is not like anything else in it.

Nice job, Glen!

According to this website, which lists all the episodes of "Songs of Praise":
https://thetvdb.com/series/songs-of-praise/allseasons/official
that should be it, 3 songs.
- Amazing Grace
- Danny Boy
- You Raise Me Up

I'm so glad you came across it, I'm assuming not many would know about it but if you search Amazing Grace it should pop up I do come across it scrolling .

Yes, I wondered that as well, could be since that's the first of it's kind in this form, Was it Songs of Praise idea at the time!
While this is Mairead and Eabha's only for Susan she has done it twice interestingly and the exact same song for Postcards!

They also did You Raise Me Up in 2015 alongside. I'm glad you posted the Danny Boy link because its hard to find until two people posted on YouTube. If I found another source of Danny Boy I would shared the link below...maybe someone can help I don't if someone can download it and share it on youtube or link.

You Raise Me Up (featuring Lynn 2015)

For the record, that link is broken. I found a couple links for this version of YRMU.

The official BBC show listing. Video currently not available.

Someone posted on YouTube. CW is at the 7:44 mark.

For Danny Boy, it's still not available.

Celtic Woman: The Original Show / Re: CD cover - Orla's pic
« Last post by LakersCeltics on September 21, 2024, 04:58:28 PM »
I never noticed there was a change. I'm not sure unless it was a copyright issue with the photo.

You might be right! The original (I think) photo looks like Orla's cover for "The Water is Wide". Example:
https://www.discogs.com/release/3441579-Celtic-Woman-Celtic-Woman

The more common (I think) photo is the one on CW Spotify, Celtic Collections, Wikipedia, etc.
