Last we heard Muirgen said something was up but there hasn't been much imagery of them in the studio has there???
I wonder if we'll get album #16 at some point in the next year (knowing how frequent they are releasing new music). I know there is a christmas tour this holiday season but beyond that.....
Do we think that next year we will get another run of the 20 tour (UK/Ireland + maybe some of the countries they go to that do not speak english) or what??
I have a feeling if we are getting a new album soon that it will not have a special to go with it.

Emma also posted a teaser. But nothing specific.

So looking forward to a catch up with the Girlos this week! It’s been too long

I was wondering the same thing about next year. Just yesterday, I emailed one of the venues from the cancelled Spring 2025 tour, and asked if there will be a Summer or Fall tour instead. No reply yet.

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say they might do an abbreviated North America tour because they're gonna tour other places / countries.

It's a mystery!

I got this reply today from one of the 2025 venues:

Celtic Woman has decided to cancel their entire 2025 tour with no reschedule date announced at this time.

Summer and Fall tours in the states seem to be dead.
Until Songs from the Heart they seemed to be common (Original show in Summer/Fall 2005 and summer 2006, A New Journey spring 2007 tour spilled into the summer before they came back for an arena tour in fall 2007, isle of hope had a spring tour that spilled into summer then came back in the fall & Songs from the Heart had a summer 2010 arena and amphitheater tour) but then started to do tours in the 2nd 1/2 of the year overseas. The last show to get a USA fall tour was X.
Does anyone think the Christmas symphony tour replaced the fall tour (though I know they did a fall X tour and a Christmas tour in 2015).
Wonder if they are doing an international run of 20.

When CW first started, PBS was a big supporter.  You saw the shows typically during a pledge drive where they offered ticket deals.  Over the years, CW seemed to start backing away from PBS.  Then, when you had to get your M&G direct from CW, I thought we may have seen the end of this relationship.

Has CW "jumped the shark"?  You could make an arguement that it has.  I have no idea what the current management's position is on things.  Do they think they need to scale back?  Do they not "need" PBS anymore?  Financially, do they need to scale back (back up singers, etc).

Don't get me wrong.  I still enjoy the music and will continue to support them.  There were years I did 10 to 12 shows a year.  This year I only did 2.  I am going to a Christmas show, which is not an inexpensive trip.  I've always tried to combine a show with either a second show or some other event.  The cost of the ticket is usually the cheapest part of the trip.

Did any PBS stations offer meet and greet for the 20 tour or did you have to get yours through the venue???

The only M&G I had this year was in Fort Myers, FL.  Tickets thru PBS.

Side note -- Fort Myers was the second M&G I went to, back in 2009.  Mairead and Chloe.  My daughter, who was 16 at the time, wanted to go.  Her first CW concert.  Problem was she's in high school, and the show was on a Thursday night.  School gets really irriated if you miss a day and the venue is like 3 hours away.  I knew I was in trouble when my daughter figured out that if we scheduled a tour of Florida Gulf Coast University for the next day, then it was an excused absence! PBS station is part of FGCU.

M&G was after the show.  My daughter was nervous about the M&G.  Chloe, being her wonderful self, put my daughter at ease.  Over the years, my daughter went to numerous other shows/M&G with me. OK, granted she really liked the trips to NYC, Red Rocks, etc.  When I went to some shows by myself, Chloe usually asked about my daughter.  I went to one of her solo shows the week before my daughter graduated from college.  Asked Chloe if she would sign a graduation card for her.  She wrote a great note inside it and signed a CD and gave to me for her.
