Oh no!!! My daughter starts school the day before. Ugh. School.  >:(

Well best of luck to those of you who registered. I'm assuming it's a lottery system??? You'll have to be our eyes and ears, especially who the special guests are.

I have a similar problem here. I’m due to start college in Ireland this fall, but my scheduled arrival date is over 2 weeks after the recording day. 😭

Anyways, good luck to those who registered! I hope you’ll be successful in getting a ticket.

I’ve found a video of SYSTIR singing, posted by ANÚNA’s official YouTube Channel.

So far, this video seems to be the only one of SYSTIR on the channel, though.

Postcards from Ireland / Re: What we know so far...!
« on: September 09, 2021, 06:37:46 PM »
According to Celtic Woman’s page on Apple Music, “Postcards from Ireland” will be released on October 29th.

Update: I also managed to find what I think is the official tracklist.

Given my location of residence I (unfortunately) have no other option but to wait for the DVD release.  :'(

Has there been any word if the Killarney Shows are still happening in August of this year. If they are, I hope there will be the option for ticketholders to view the concert online. Unfortunately given current circumstances (including vaccine rollout) it seems unlikely I'll be able to travel to Ireland this summer to watch :'(

Mairead Carlin / Re: Mairead Carlin moving on from Celtic Woman

I have noticed they removed her account @ from the official Celtic Woman account’s bio though. Although nevertheless, their lack of communication regarding Mairead Carlin’s departure is a bit worrying.

2 What I find funny is CW has not said a word about Mairead leavening yet

I found this funny as well. I only started following their socials within the past year or so so I had no idea whether it was normal for the official Celtic Woman accounts to remain silent after a member makes a leaving announcement. I guess it’s not then.

Which makes me think something is going on with their management. But for that, only time will tell.

I was really looking forward to seeing her in person in Killarney later this year. To say I’m shocked would be a bit of an understatement right now.

But still, I’ll support her regardless of the path she chooses to follow from here.

Edit: Just saw the statement about the cancellation of the tour this year. Maybe not “later this year” then.

I’m really hoping the dates will work out though, this will be my first CW show so I’m really excited to go and watch it, as well as meet all the fans! Like what Tracie said, I think meeting other fans is such an enjoyable experience!

Good news: My term dates for next year are out and it seems like I will be able to attend the show next year (COVID conditions permitting)! I’m already so excited to go and watch it and meet other fans as well!

This is a bit early but I hope everyone here has a safe and happy new year!

I really want to watch some of these streams since they're free to watch, but unfortunately the 12-15 hour (depending on the region) time difference between the US and Thailand means that it's not possible for me.  :'(

Hopefully I can wake up early enough tomorrow morning to catch Chloe and Mairead though!

A few days ago I found a link online to the full DVD recording of “The Bloody Irish” on Vimeo. I’ll leave the link here for anyone who wants to watch it.

It's what made the DVd's more interesting

I honestly have to agree. Getting to see what was happening during rehearsals and the preparation for the filming was always fun. The “A Day in the Life of ___” videos that they did and the Takeover Tuesdays they did during Homecoming and Ancient Land were fun too.

My family have just bought tickets for the show today (yay!). Now it’s all in the hands of my school and when they decide to open for the 2021 academic year.

I’m really hoping the dates will work out though, this will be my first CW show so I’m really excited to go and watch it, as well as meet all the fans! Like what Tracie said, I think meeting other fans is such an enjoyable experience!
