Title: Lynn's comments about the Irish music industry
Post by: VegasDavid on April 08, 2023, 03:07:17 AM
Go to 1h02m25s in the link below to hear Lynn call into a radio show and give her very pessimistic view of what it's like to be a singer/songwriter in Ireland:

I think she posted this on Facebook tonight, but then her post disappeared.

Thanks for posting. That's fascinating. And sad. I think she posted similar thoughts when she started her Patreon page.

A lot of people probably assume they're all making money by the boat load because they're famous. And it sounds like they don't get a lot of income from their side hustles (singing lessons, weddings, funerals, etc) either.

Lynn posted an in-depth essay on her website. The title is:
'Irish female artists on mainstream Irish radio'
