The Celtic Women 2023 concert tour across the U.S has been canceled. Not to worry, because in 2024, Celtic Women will celebrate the 20th year of their partnership with PBS.

In order for the musicians and filmmakers to prepare for a brand-new program and concert tour, Celtic Women chose to cancel all U.S tours for 2023.

We will, however, be airing Celtic Women: "Postcards from Ireland" during our winter pledge drive that starts on Thursday, 11/23 and runs through Sunday, 12/11.

Perhaps when they return they will tape a new special quite similar to Emerald (tape on the '24 tour) and then '25 will be the 20th anniversary tour?
They have gone on anniversary tours from the anniversary of the RELEASE of the first album/special/original tour. 

I hope we get some word from Celtic Woman before too long about the status of the group and what to expect moving forward. This upcoming tour being cancelled without any word from The Powers That Be has me a little nervous. I just hope we can continue to experience the magic of Celtic Woman for years to come!

Remember how Celtic thunder went on hiatus quietly after the decade tour and I don’t think we knew it until we got a letter from Sharon.

That is, indeed, what I'm hoping to see sometime soon. Not really an explanation as to why it was cancelled (though that would be nice), but moreso a reaffirmation that Celtic Woman will continue to provide us the music that we have grown to love so much. With the abrupt cancellation and no info from management, it makes me concerned that the doors may be shuttering and I sincerely hope that is not the case because I love these girls and I really loved the Postcards Tour!

Yes. I hope it doesn't mean the end, I don't want Postcards from Ireland to be the last tour I ever see (I went six years between my first two shows) and I still haven't seen the christmas tour but have been wanting to for five years: this long wait being able to see the christmas tour is upsetting & has me nervous that I may never (because of how long I have been waiting due to the fact we've been skipped over one christmas too many) get to see the christmas symphony tour.
Wait didn't the PBS stations that said it's cancelled promise that Celtic woman will be back in '24?

Yes, I've seen it from two PBS stations now that the reason for the 2023 tour being canceled is so they can prepare a 20th anniversary tour for 2024.

Let's not despair guys. I believe next year the girls should record a new DVD (similar to Emerald) to promote the 2024 tour
Probably in August 2023 or September...

And next year we might have another christmas tour as well

I wonder if we’ll get a new dvd/cd similar to emerald or homecoming AND a best of special similar to 2015 & 2020?
