Currently enjoying the concert with Deidre & wondering this:
Since this concert was prior to the recording of A New Journey is it possible some of the songs that would go on A New Journey were initially recorded for the original show but not used?
The songs I think of are
*The Sky & the Dawn & the Sun
*The Blessing
*Granuaile's Dance

The impression I got from what David has said is that they expected the initial show to be a one-and-done thing tailored toward PBS. When they planned to go on tour, he realized they would need a lot more music, particularly original songs. And I think he wanted it to be more of a spectacle. So I think most of those New Journey songs were actually written for the first tour.
