I knew it was you for the importance of Deirdre! Made me so in love with her rendition style of She Moved Thru the Fair once again!
To start with Mairead Nesbitt with that song is so CW perfect and all the song choices are the perfect touch of the Irish energy it becomes more emotional as you get to from Eabha to Muirgen those songs are absolute breathtaking.
That Tara solo is as emotionally grandiose of all as Slumber my Darling that use to transition just beforep Nella Fantasia on tour as one of the most heartstruck.. so for me those two are sublime of cw bests from the violinists!
It's hard to pick for Alex between You'll Be in My Heart and True Colors, had she done My Heart Was Home Again in a CW Special wonder if that would been a stealer. I love Alex but wanted her to have an ireland song like the others. Meav is also hard to pick but she owns Dulaman so great choice indeed!

Thank you for sharing! Such a great listen lots of positive motivations from known other than Alex herself! It was so neat to hear her speak on her weaknesses, I can't comprehend how Lynn is a genius at the techno side! I am deeply curious though about the Celtic Woman private thing in 2019 she mentioned Lynn organized.. oh I would dream just to go to a hotel and just sit unwined and just to listen see Alex perform!

You can see Megan in love like she is to witness perform with her. I've seen several clips but not this quality.  IT'S UNBELIEVABLE THE SOUND SO EXACT TO WHEN with Mairead C! This was the best tour segment because it was a beautiful moment for Susan had her maternity kept her from gracing the Ancient Land Castle filming and even though she claimed again in Postcards from Ireland this first time here shows her first time returning filling in and doing the top soprano role she is capable of! While Lynn is by far the best replacement Celtic Woman has ever had to uphold the Soprano position of Meav, Susan is the second closest so far for filling in for Mairead C even though for solos it made not be. x

Interesting I never looked over the VOA Nil Sen LA version as dark, is less in the fun factor aspect yes but sometimes I'd like to have another version that is stylized like the other Celtic Woman songs. The choreography during the once tour was phenomenal I can't believe they didn't record on DVD as a bonus at least. That and TAR are my favorites even though I get people love love the original I would even say postcards from Ireland's slow vibe is dark contrast to the chilling reinnovation that VOA proved same songs can be given new birth for a fresh new time today. Ofc the first time I listened to the CD, I did not like the new versions but that's normal by the sudden difference at first!

However I have to say they never in their history put a random silhouette w/o it looking like who the member was...
CWX didn't have a silhouette although they advertised Emerald cast and there was a darken Lisa L on Dulaman pose but that wasn't CW doing that!
Since they've announced a new member to replace Megan I wonder if the lineup will be Muirgen/Emma/Hannah/Tara/rotating 5th member?
I doubt that now actually since now with two new member's! That doesn't mean it won't happen.. Can we have at least a special this time...Celebration and CWX were the best!

Granuaile: Nice find! Important too! Important because we know 2024 is the anniversary tour and not a "normal" spring tour. I guess they did drop hints about it, as a reason they cancelled the 2023 tour.
Does that mean no new music til then or after???
If we do get new music it wouldn't surprise me if we get another Emerald or Voices of Angels type album? either 100% new recordings of old stuff (like Emerald) or one that's largely remakes but with a few new songs sprinkled in (like Voices of Angels). Next year will be 10 years since the Emerald Tour so either one wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't surprise me if the 2016-18 VOA/Homecoming cycle was repeated: CD only album, tour, record live CD/DVD, release live CD/DVD, Tour again. I know I've said this but I'll say it again I wonder if they want a nice long 20th anniversary tour because the 15th anniversary tour got cut so short.
This time around it be so fresh whether it's old songs or new or mix since the entire soloists are new yes Muirgen hasn't been on an album with classic CW songs yet! I'm gearing for a mix old and new like VOA.

I can't wait to hear how they'll sound, especially with all 3 ladies being Sopranos again, they may mix it up with who takes lower range on different songs.
The new member's voice Emma reminds soooo much of Mairead C! This is the closest we'll get to hearing how Muirgen would sound with Mairead C. It looks like they went the route like ( Celebration 2021) Hannah - Chloe Emma - Mairead C Muirgen- Megan/Eabha now can take the Eabha spot Megan has had I and a few others have thought Muirgen would sounded better in Eabhas parts but at the time Megan shined them amazingly with her accented voice of hers. They've only swapped voices on TAR!

A return of Lisa L would be a great surprise. Maybe Her and Orla this time around. I also just want to see former members sing amongst members they have not been together! Deirdre would be unexpected!! I know it's unlikely but imagine Lynn and Meav together or Alex with Meav. Having just watched one of my favorites from CT again this is such a powerful powerhouse performance that I could imagine how if they had for example a reunion one or two number with as many members as possible example: Alex, Lynn, Meav, Lisa L, Eabha, Orla, Chloe, Susan! Another castle-setting would be nice through.
We NEED a 20 Years of Memories feature too though. They can do so much more than they did with the Celebration DVD.
My other wish is You Raise Me Up, including the second verse (or the David Downes Parting Glass, but that won't be happening), with every member they can bring back and an accompanying tribute video to all the wonderful performers during the years. I want it soooo much! For now, I'll just have to enjoy this amazing fan-made video:

I don't know about you but I am wondering if the next few albums might be
*Mostly new arrangements of old songs (a la Voices of Angels where lots of songs are new takes on oldies but a few new ones)
*Live album (like Homecoming)
*New material.
Yes Yes Yes! I am so thirsty for a Voices Of Angels Part II More new arrangements of favorite classic CW songs!!! I'm not sure but the celebration Tour was so iconic with Mairead C and Chloe together it was so power dominatrix esp May it Be for a DVD!  Greatest Journey Season 2 is a must call it Grand Journey Essential!

I think they were planning to do a DVD recording in Killarney in 2020. I'm not sure what the set list would have looked like though. I have to imagine a 20th Anniversary album / DVD would be fan favorite songs from over the years. Perhaps O'Toole's arrangements of some of the livelier numbers (and better mixing) will restore my confidence in the group's musical direction.
Okay my wish is they don't repeat anything like Emerald and Homecoming and instead follow up on those missed opportunities as the castle outdoor special Voices of Angels was in theory to been have former members along in it. Can you Imagine had they done that maybe Meav could of Guest appeared on that new O America version. In fact I suggest they do a beautiful stunning outdoor concert featuring the best recent choreography they've had with Mo Ghile Mear My Gallant Star, TAR, Orinoco Flow (Celebration and Postcards Tour), Nil Sen LA from 2017 Tour etc Time to blow some socks off! 🔥 While your at it you can make up for Lisa L not been in a castle production. even for Susan though glad she got a bit of justice! Haha thanks to the new director🤪😘 Another option of mine be a taping of an anniversary tour / show is a must even though they might save that for the 25th Anniversary if they care to do!

Anyone! Any of the former members are definitely welcomed! Alex is one of my absolute favorite members so if you ask if she could still or would I'd say yes she has been known as the filler many many times! It would work if there were three to four rotating. If not then have her and Lynn Guest on a special anniversary tour show recording they both need more recognition! I cannot see them have one person yes Chloe but she's done it so no only other would be Mairead C jumping back or Lisa L. I think it's time for a Lisa L reunion! If rotational I can picture Mairead C, Eabha and Lisa L.
